When the attorney immediately jumped to "how are we going to get these assets?" I tried to get clarification and mentioned my history of childhood sex abuse. He showed zero interest in my story as a survivor, the damage it caused, or answering any of my questions. He made me feel unheard and unsupported. I'm not sure why he called me in the first place. The attorney was dismissive and talked over me from the start. Within the first few minutes I told him this was not a good fit and he just dragged out a long, indifferent 'yeaaaaah'. I work with refugees and know what real trauma-informed care looks like. This was the opposite. I've done a lot of these intakes. This firm is amateurish when it comes to trauma-informed care. Would not recommend this firm for sensitive survivor cases. Look elsewhere if you need actual compassion and listening or you may be re-traumatized.
