We booked a room for two for just the headspa service, which was nicely lit and smelled amazing with relaxing music. Lily and Tina serviced us, these ladies gave such a wonderful massage and scalp treatment and treated us like royalty. Usually I get pretty anxious and tense when I'm approached with unfamiliar physical contact but they both did an amazing job at setting a relaxing tone. I literally almost fell asleep (and I'm usually ALWAYS on high alert/tense) because it felt so good. THEY WERE GETTING UP IN THERE. Ever heard of that tiktok audio "FUHHH U DIGGIN IN MEEE"? lmao thats literally what kept replaying in my head as she worked my scalp. Everything from the robes, blankets, bed, and products were a 10/10 it was so easy to lose track of time. My friend and I both agreed that hour went by so quick lol! My hair looks and feels amazing after the final blow dry; they used dysons so it wasn't overly hot or loud. Also bonus points for the little snacks and drinks they provided, so cute. Pricing was a breeze and I definitely felt like we got a great deal. They are a new spa however so I'm expecting prices to increase over time but even still now is definitely a great time to book for the value! They also offer other services like a full body massage, foot massage, facials, and RMT massage (double the price because they are licensed massage therapists). Will 100000% be returning and recommending to everyone! TIPS: 1: Parking and entrance is at the VERY BACK of the building. 2: Bring cash!! It's not required (they take tap to pay and card) but it will save you 10% off your total. The head massage starts with some aromatherapy and deep breathing followed by the head massage. They then wash your hair twice, condition, and rinse it off. Afterwards, you get a shoulder massage. Once the massage is done, you go to another room where you get your hair blow dried. They have Dyson hair dryers and use salon products like the Revlon and Moroccan Oil. I noticed on their website that they mention you might be sharing a room. However, if you don't want to share a room you just have to mention it in your booking. When I brought this to her attention she trimmed it a bit and continued. I was so frustrated by that time that I just left it as is. My sister in law who joined me, started bleeding when her nail tech clipped her skin while cutting her cuticles. I highly doubt I would be coming back here. However, I was surprised by a few things when I started. First, there were the usual forms for client information that every client signs, but what I was confused about was the lack of details in the forms. There was no questionnaire about previous treatments, health restrictions/allergies, and other beauty treatment inquiries. Since I know my skin quite well and I wasn't too concerned about my skin, I decided not to bring it up. While I was signing the form, I heard someone with a loud voice complain about something. I wasn't too focused on it so I couldn't hear, but I thought it was a customer. To my surprise it was an employee; they continued to ramble as I was entering my treatment room. I was welcomed by the esthetician to the treatment room (I apologize for forgetting their name, it might have been Jennifer). I laid down on the bed and got ready. When they were waxing my underarms, I was surprised at how they applied the wax on my entire underarm area. I've never had a treatment that way; in my experience, the technique used was often to apply more than one application due to the different hair growth directions of the underarms. When they took the wax off, it hurt so much more, and they did not place their hand on the waxed area to avoid pain as well. The same goes with the other arm. She grabbed my arm really tightly as well throughout the process. After the wax, she decided to massage my underarms which was a very pleasant surprise. I appreciated that very much. However, when I went to look at my waxed area, I saw a big area of blood clots on one of my underarms. I've always had a few tiny blood clots on the hair follicle area, but this was a much bigger blood clot that looked like I was punched. I showed it to my boyfriend and he was frightened at the sight. It disappeared after 3-4 days. I still tipped the same amount at the end because it was a service, but I'm not sure if this is where I'll frequent for my waxes. I appreciate the happy demeanor of the staff and how polite they are, but unfortunately, my skin does not seem to enjoy the salon very much. Update (08/08/2020): The owner responded through Google Reviews, had failed to apologize for my experience, and proceeded to become passive-aggressive in their correspondence. They failed to address the points that were brought up and attempted to explain basic waxing side effects as if I've never had waxes before.

I first found out about this place through xiaohongshu (Chinese app that's like Instagram and Pinterest rolled into one), and from there I added the customer service account on wechat. I was told about a $105 service for first time customers when I inquired about the 60 minute scalp treatment and mini facial. I then found their website through which I made the appointment. On the day before my appointment, I got a phone call to change appointment time due to double booking I got another phone call on the day of appointment asking me to come in earlier. The service itself was great, super relaxing, my hair and skin felt so good. During the scalp treatment, my hair was thoroughly washed and my scalp massaged by gentle hands while my body was massaged by the chair. During the mini facial, my face was gently cleansed, then I had a mask, followed by steam. Afterwards my hair was blow dried, and it felt so soft and silky. My experience ended unpleasantly, as I ended up having to pay more than anticipated - I thought I was getting the $105 first time customer service, but instead I was charged $135. Now I'm not sure what the $105 service for first time customers is and if I qualify for it. Lesson learned to be very careful and clarify prices beforehand.
