We split the largest octopus appetizer either of us have ever seen, Followed by one order of fish tacos -- freshly made, loads of beautiful fish, and pickled onions. We asked for salsa picante and it the tacos were perfect. (Puerto Ricans don't do spicy. This is not Mexico!) Jugo de parcha -- passion fruit juice -- was the perfect complement to the tacos. We love trying local spots and supporting small businesses. Boho Beach Restaurant was 5 minutes away from where we stayed in Cabo Rojo so we decided to give it a try. We were a group of 6 and arrived a little after 8 pm on a Friday night. We were seated immediately. They were knowledgeable about gluten allergies and we began our orders with appetizers of ceviche, arancini and prosciutto. We ordered a bottle of wine ,michelada, and beer. For entrees 2 skirt steaks with risotto, fish tacos, grilled chicken with rice and beans, Cancer Pizza,and a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad had walnuts on it and that's a first! I asked about the walnuts and they immediately replaced it. Overall it was a nice dining experience. The rice to beans ratio was off (very small portion of rice and a cup full of beans). The ceviche was a miss as it had very little pieces of seafood and was presented as I've had previously. The place is beautiful and very cold. (Bring a sweater) It's a great place nearby and will go again and order something different! read more

I was promptly greeted and helped with the menu. It was supposed to be a QR Code, but it was so small, or the lighting so dim, my camera couldn't read it. Luckily they had a printed menu with a limited selection for dinner. Everything looked clean and for a Monday night, there seemed to be plenty of staff. I ordered a Mojito, which has become my addiction in Puerto Rico. It was delicious! I asked for the server's opinion on the two fish entrees, and to her credit, she recommended the Mahi Mahi with the tostones for $22. The salmon with gnocchi was $2thought about switching for a different side dish, and then noticed that they charge $5 to switch sides. That didn't seem fair, so I stayed with the tostones. I asked if they had pana (sp?) and the server said she'd check, but never told me what to expect. It wasn't a big deal, but it would've been nice. The AC was on full blast, and I wish I brought my sweatshirt. (I asked about the temperature and they moved me to a much more comfortable table.) All of the food that came out of the kitchen looked delicious. The burgers were stacked high and the fish tacos were stuffed with fish. The restaurant was supposed to close at 8:00. I arrived at 7:30 and another table was seated after me. In all, there were 4 parties. Dinner arrived and everything was exceptionally delicious. The Mahi Mahi was tender and moist. The sauce was delicate and added a nice touch. The tostones were crispy and filling. I was only able to finish two of the six and had to take the rest home. Of course, I managed to eat all of the fish! Overall a great meal for the end of the day. I should also mention they serve pizza, so this is a perfect place for families too! read more

We have come to Boquerón for many years and this was our first time eating at Boho kitchen- I wish we had come sooner! The drinks were fantastic and the food was delicious. My family has made many comments on how many Caesar salads I have ordered over the years, and they are not wrong. This was one of the better ones that I have had- the dressing was great and the salad had walnuts in it, this was such a nice touch. I will definitely return. read more

We had breakfast here three times during our stay at Boho Beach Club. Overall, we were pleased, which is why we kept coming back.... that and our son wouldn't let us go anywhere else because he loved the French Toast. The nice thing about esto there so many times is that we got to try several dishes. We had the traditional and lobster eggs benedict, meat and veggie frittatas, and the chicken and waffles. We didn't care much for either eggs benedict. They were both sort of bland. The frittatas, however, were full of flavor. I preferred the veggie one but I'd reorder both. The waffle on the chicken and waffle was excellent, nice and fluffy. The chicken was a bit on the overcooked side but still edible. It was chicken breast and I would have preferred thigh. The dish came with honey glazed bacon, which was perfectly cooked and tasty. Fried egg on top. They serve pizza from Thursday to Sunday starting at 1p till closing. Although we didn't have lunch or dinner there, when we passed by the lobby we could see many people eating pizza. Next time we'll try one. Aside from the good food, service was consistently good. Reservations are recommended. Also, get the rum punch. It's very good. Get it and sip it by the pool. read more

This restaurant is a perfect place for breakfast. Well, almost perfect because the eggs benedicts were disappointing. However, the frittatas, french toast, and waffles were delicious. I especially loved the frittatas, both the meat and the veggie ones. Coffee was also good and service was very nice. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor. They also serve lunch and dinner, but we only had breakfast. The only non-breakfast food we got were the pulled pork wonton nachos. We ordered them to eat by the pool. Wow, I loved them. I would say they are the best nachos I've ever had. You can order food and drinks and ask for them to be delivered to the pool. After taking a trip to the bioluminescent bay, we stayed overnight in Boqueron and woke up hungry!! We found BoHo Kitchen through Yelp and we're VERY happy with our brunch. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the food was very flavorful! We wish we had spent more time in this cute town and we would definitely consider staying in the hotel attached to Boho Kitchen - very cool decor, lovely pool, and wonderful food & drinks right on site! If we didn't have another town to get to by the end of the day we would have stayed for dinner as that menu looked very tempting as well! read more

The customer service has gone way downhill. Rude in fact. And the food is decent at best. Not worth one's time and trust me you'll be in for a long wait even if the restaurant is empty. So here in the southwest region of Puerto Rico, Cabo Rojo ,stumbled upon the Boho hotel( Boho Kitchen inside), in a region i am starting to love, had dinner late night last night here last minute, they accommodated me, local bars and restaurants closed at 9 pm i got to the other places at 8:30 and was told they were closed. Asked staff it they could make it happen and they did, also told them i was a Yelp elite might have helped a bit lol. I went to this restaurant today for the first time and I had the worse experience ever. We made a reservation for a big party and they didn't have enough staff to cover our party and everyone else. We had to wait over an hour just for a cup of coffee. Food was cold and we only ordered simple plates. We had to get up and get our drinks ourselves several times because the server came by only a few times. Servers were rude and we are definitely not going back. The server brought the manager and she was non-chalant and she was indifferent to our feedback. 100% would not recommend. Visited it twice now, yesterday and today... let me say that this is one of the most welcoming restaurants I have visited. The staff is friendly, observant and service oriented. We were attended by Bryan first, a very carismatic and energetic guy. He was honest about his recommendations in great detail and was very attentive to our needs. He did not hesitate in resolving any sort of discomfort that could possibly ruin our experience, including the temperature! Second day I visited, Sergio attended us. I was truly impressed by the level of detail and attention this gentleman gave to us, regardless of how busy the restaurant was and our seating being outside the restaurant. He satisfied all of our requests going out of the way and making special requests to the chef. Specially with my plate. It is a hotel establishment so as expected the food is culturally disconnected and reaches for the attention of the tourists in the area. The presentation was beautiful and classy and the customer service was top notch. However, when you seek for food in a place like PR you expect flavor in your food and unfortunately that's where this place drops the ball. To be fair, we did only order tacos, pulled pork and shrimp, but let's face it, tacos are easy. The pulled pork had no flavor. The shrimp tacos fell apart from how much juice the added. Small restaurant that is part of a hotel. They have brunch all day and the French toast is great. So is the bacon. Everything we had there was good. Also ate there the night before and that was very good too, had a hamburger and fish tacos. The only negative was that they service the hamburger and salad dry and I had to request condiments and salad dressing. they had trouble coming up with the salad dressing. But it was good to get a salad. This place is a little different than the other nearby restaurants. It is new and clean and nicely furnished. Service was very good. read more
