I've been a client at BoLavish Spa for over a year, and I absolutely love the treatments I've had! The Spa is very clean and offers a warm and inviting environment for guests. My first experience was a Lash Lift & Tint (w/ Keratin) in September 2022 with Mary. I showed up for my appointment that was scheduled through ClassPass and was told "Oh youre really early." I clarified that I had reserved the time I had arrived and was told that she had tried to email me to change the time and that she didnt have my phone number. So they just assumed they could change a client appointment time without approval? They need to block out times on the classpass app if they arent available instead of retroactively trying to move people around. I drove an hour and got a babysitter for this appointment so was really disappointed that they arent even capable of managing their schedule and honoring appointment confirmed through Classpass. read more

I was going to another eyelash artist for the last year+ in West Seattle and her work was great, but I got a reaction to the glue my last 2 fill appointments and she did not want to continue in fear that my irritation to the glue would get worse. I looked around and was happy to learn that BoLavish offered Novalash that uses a different glue. I had my appointment yesterday and so far, no bad reaction to the glue. I was very happy with Chanbo's work. She was very warm and personable. She is one of 2 eyelash artists in Seattle certified to use Novalash and is their brand ambassador. Novalash lashes stay on an average of 4 weeks. I have to go back in 2 weeks when my lashes from my last artist sheds. I'm looking forward to having full volume and being able to stretch my eyelash fill visits. So far, I'm a fan! read more

I was going here and seeing mariah. she was absolutely lovely. Was coming every two weeks for my lashes.. I got mixed up on my lash appointments (mind you I never missed an appointment nor did I ever show up late and I always tipped) via the third party app that they use I thought I had saw my appointment times different. anyways- after my last appointment I receive a text from the owner and she told me I can no longer be seen at her salon. I never was dis respectful, always kind, always early for my appointments, always tipped, and never canceled or missed an appointment. She never gave me an actually legitimate reason as to why I could no longer return as she canceled all my remaining appointments that were booked out through the remainder of the year. The only thing I could think of is being racist? I loved coming here but to be kicked to the curb for absolutely NO reason is beyond disgusting and unprofessional. I would never recommend this place for their lack of professionalism and their racist's attitude by the owner. If I can figure out a way to post the screen shot of the texts you could see there was no legit reason to be kicked to the curb other than from a racist approach. I get lash extensions with Chanbo. Chanbo is literally THE BEST. I've had bad reactions and painful experiences with other lash places. Chanbo is a true professional. She talked me through the whole process, we spoke about allergies, she let me analyze ingredients and I can get lash extensions now without problems. Her lash studio is super cozy. The bed has a little warmer on it, and blanket and cozy pillow so I always fall asleep. The prices are also very fair and affordable. She also squeezes me in if I have a special event and want to have fresh lashes. I would scream the praises of this place from a mountain if I could. Just had my first keratin lash lift, and I am in LOVE. I had lash extensions for years, but they were just too high-maintenance. Plus, I really wanted a more natural look. Chanbo was the sweetest, most gentle and accommodating lash technician I have ever had! I'll definitely be integrating these lash lifts into my lifestyle, and if I were to ever get extensions again - I know who I'm coming to ;) Thank you Chanbo!!! Update: so, this is not a negative review of BoLavish or the stylists, but my lashes did not respond well to the lash lift after a day or two. Unfortunately, my super-fine Asian lashes just couldn't support the way the lash lift affected them, and they ended up going all wonky and now they look like a hot mess. I normally do not write reviews or rate anything on Yelp. However, based on my recent experience at Bolavish Spa, I felt the need to write about it. I booked an appointment with Chanbo for lash extensions recently. I wanted to get a volume set instead of classic set but I was hesitant since my eyelashes are somewhat fine. I didn't want the volume set to overweigh my eyelashes and look really fake and/or droopy. This notion was based on seeing my friend's lash extensions done at somewhere else. Chanbo informed me that the volume would actually be better for my eyelashes and would not weigh anything down. The procedure went smoothly and I didn't experience any discomfort. She worked her magic and when I looked in the mirror, I was extremely pleased with the results! My eyelashes look full in volume yet they are very natural looking.
