Bold Church has a strong worship team, and the sermons are powerful, biblically accurate, and very well-delivered. In that sense, it's clear that the church is rooted in Scripture and worship. However, from my personal experience, community was a downside. When I attended a couple of years ago, I found the church to feel somewhat "cliquey," with groups already formed, which made it difficult to connect. I eventually stepped away because I value genuine community where efforts to build friendships are reciprocated. Fast forward two years later, I found myself still struggling to form meaningful connections within the church. While worship and sermons are vital, community is also a huge part of church life, and unfortunately, I didn't feel welcomed or included. For that reason, I've decided to move on and find a place where I can both grow spiritually and feel connected relationally. No hard feelings at all, I truly wish Bold Church the best and hope they continue to grow in building deeper community. It just wasn't the right fit for me. read more

My family have been attending Bold Church for about a year now. When we moved back to the Bay Area after a few years in Oregon, finding a church was top of mind for my wife. I've been at Bold for 5 years now and feel grateful to God for leading me here. I had every intention of visiting a lot of other places around town to see which place I could call home but this church was the first and last I visited. As a baby believer, I was hooked by the loud music and chic aesthetic. I'm still here though because I know God is moving. He is at the center of everything here, which means everything done here, is done in truth and love! The folks who call this place home are some of the most amazing people I have met and feel honored to be in community with them. I also really love that we don't just have church on Sundays for a bit then forget about God and each other. I love centerset church. They are so so sweet and these members accepted/greeted me as soon as I entered the hotel doors. Hotel doors?? YES. It is located in Hotel Valencia in santana row which makes the experience feel really special! I love their service worships each sunday and Life Groups are coming up which is also really cool! From October 17 2018 Last weekend we had a birthday sleepover at The Hotel Valencia, in the morning I noticed that they have a church service there that starts at 11. I sensed excitement in the people, and of course I was curious. I visited today and I must say, I got a fresh burst of The Wind, so needed! It was an amazing experience, and I don't say that lightly. I'm always hesitant about new churches. I came from a long history of Christianity, and I'm not a stranger to churches. In fact, I church hop sometimes to find the most bible based church. I'm not looking for good music, atmosphere, people, ethnicities, or backgrounds that may interest me; I look for the message. It's not up to me to judge, but a good bible based church is one that base the message on more than two or three verses. Pastor Ali shared some very convicting messages. He asked a simple question : who are you when no ones looking? What is your identity based on? This was weird because I was just talking about this very subject with a Christian coworker the other day. It felt to me that God was guiding my steps towards this church. Bold Church is my home. I first was introduced to Bold Church at 18 years old from a friend. I came from a catholic background but never had any seriousness about church. I was still too young to Understand. Still, Bold left an impact on me, stood out to me. It felt just more then church attendance, I received a message about my own life. I've made my way back to Bold at least three times since then being lost in my ways. Ali has noted how much I've changed since then. My mentality has changed so much from all the unimportant things of this world, the distractions that the devil wants for us. To the will of God and what he wants. I now have the ability to understand and what's is harming me. I am dependent of the church, and the groups to learn more about what everything really means and what's best. From the moment I walked into CenterSet, I felt love. This church has been a tremendous blessing to me and my family since we've been attending. So much so that my husband and I became members of the Dream Team. Our children love the Children's Ministry and the teachers. The teachers are kind, caring and make learning the word fun. They have a good system to ensure the children's safety and we are thankful that we are able to have our kids learn on their level. We LOVE the messages Pastor Ali teaches. Amazing & Open Church in Santana Row! First off, everyone is so open and Welcoming as you come in. The service starts with a great band doing a few uplifting songs. Then Pastor Ali comes out and gives an inspirational down-to-earth service that is relevant to my life. Topics include work, forgiveness, sex, relationships, etc. My fiance and I were on the fence about church, but wanted to give it a try for our toddler... and it is great. So whether you are religious or not, it is a great opportunity for spiritual wellbeing.
