Despite my horror at there being no starbucks here in Enterprise, I am very please to report that I have found not only an acceptable substitute BUT a PREFERABLE substitute! Who knew? The guy (Owner and operator, I suspect) is really nice AND when I order a skinny-sugarfree-vanilla latte with ONE squirt of not-so-sugar-free amaretto syrup, he happily obliges. Despite my personal hesitation over the fact that it is a religious place (a church meets there every sunday and religious decor covers the walls), I went in. I was very impressed with my chai latte. This cafe is great, I loved my iced mint white chocolate coffee. The only thing I have to complain about it was that it wasn't in an 'iced' cup with a straw. It was in a regular coffee cup with the lid. The atmosphere was quiet enough for me. I liked it. I sat on the plush leather couches they had. They also have several tables you can sit at as well. Oh, and they are fairly priced. Not as expensive as Starbucks and I love that. Will def come back. read more

Since my experience I had with the prior review I have tried Boldly Going several more times and it has been a MUCH better experience. The owners wife makes one of the best desserts I've ever had in my life..... "Mexican Cheesecake" make sure you get two because they go fast and and are like creamy sugary heaven. The small, yet bustling shop exceeds expectations by masterfully blending the classics with the new, more alternative tastes. Not one for coffee? They also provide a variety of chais and teas. Coffee addicts will also be pleased to learn that when purchasing an iced coffee, "coffee cubes" is an option. Yes, addicts, frozen coffee in the form of little squares which can be added to cold coffee. That way, as it melts slowly, the coffee won't become watered down; to the contrary! It becomes more intense the longer it melts. The wide array of textures and flavors has no end, and all seem more wonderful and original than the last. Keeping in step with the incredible flavors and drinks is the customer service. Newcomers may arrive for the caffeine, but will stay for the people. As diverse as their drink selection may be, the various personalities behind the counter are perhaps even more unique. Ranging from quirky to perky, the workers here can grow on anyone. To top it all off, the overall atmosphere of Boldly Going is astoundingly calm, and relaxing. The decor is gently aesthetic, producing a jazzy-sunday-morning feeling. While music is constantly playing via speakers near the counter, it never becomes overwhelming. If anything, it adds to the simplicity of the place. Even though their customers are many, the store workers maintain a family-friendly policy. Many mothers have been known to bring their little ones into this safe place when they need a little pick-me-up. One might see in one corner a flight student from local Fort Rucker pouring over maps. Or in another, a bible study happening. The quiet is pierced intermittently by the espresso machines steaming milk, yet it somehow becomes part of the background, as if it belongs there, like a puzzle piece. Whether the need is caffeine, a friend, something tasty, or just somewhere to get away for a while, Boldly Going has it all. I think this is the best non-franchised Coffee Shop in the Wiregrass Area. I get my Iced, 4 Shot, White Chocolate Latte almost every day and regardless of who is working that morning they automatically know what I want and make it with haste. The owner and employees are very nice and always can put you in a better mood. The atmosphere is amazing; they have sofas and tables to relax at with free Wi-Fi and bakery goods. This place is great! I moved to Enterprise worried I wouldn't find a decent place to get coffee seeing as I was a Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts kinda girl. Well this blows Starbucks out of the water! I ordered a straight-forward Mocha, to which the response was, "What kind of drink?" I had definitely said it clearly and in an audible tone in the otherwise quiet atmosphere. Kinda weird I thought for a coffee shop to not know what a Mocha is. When I walked out of the shop I took the first taste of my "Mocha." It was horrid. I failed to watch her make it (I should have), but I'm pretty sure it was drip coffee with a squirt of Hershey's syrup in it. I took about two more sips, stirred it up just to make sure I wasn't missing something, took another sip, and then tossed it. I used to own a Tully's Coffee franchise in Seattle so I know coffee. While the décor was nice and the place was clean, the cups were the standard "Cash & Carry" coffee cups, the syrup generic, and the beans obviously not ground fresh (unless my suspicion is true and it was really drip coffee with chocolate syrup). read more

I enjoy the dirty hippie which is a chai, as well as the mocha latte. The Mexican cheesecake is wonderful! Lots of workspace and electric outlets for laptops. Also comfy sofas. The only complaint I have is that how good the drinks are depends on who the barista is. read more

Awesome place to get coffee and study. Friendly and welcoming staff for the most part, although others and myself have had some not good experiences with one employee. Wish that the cold brew and cinnamon rolls were available more often!! Luckily Stacy always tries to make sure they're made and is very helpful! I think there's a lot of potential with the shop, it just needs to expand out more, at least with different food and drink options. Oh and they do have coffee cubes, which are awesome! So, found this place by Yelp and loved the coffee. We wanted to chill while we waited on family to get into town. We were very directly told they were closing in 5 mins abd when my husband said I'd like one to go, only to be told he had just poured out the coffee. I was just being helpful and told him that Yelp had them closing at 9pm. He quickly told me that he hated Yelp, so I told him that we were from out of town and that was the only way we actually found their coffee shop. They have this delicious concoction of cheesecake/churro hybrid that is to die for! The shop is great for large groups of people and the lounge area has comfy couches to sit, sip and talk. The staff is always quick and courteous and super helpful on helping you decide what to order from there large drink menu. The only drawback I've run into is my friend asked if she could buy a banana for her toddler to munch on as we drank our coffee, and the girl behind the counter said no. She said she needed it to make smoothies, obviously we were ok with it, but thought it a little strange to refuse to let someone buy a product that is clearly sitting on the counter ready to be used for consumption. I also hate their lids! They use the dome lids, which allow for whip and things of that nature, but I always get an over pour of my drink, which then leaks all over me, the car, or anything else that comes in contact with my drink. read more
