This past week we had a wonderful time in St Louis at the Onder Law Christmas Party. It was great…read moreto meet long time friends from on line but now in person. The vibe there was so joyful. The food delicious and the music fantastic. We did not feel out of place. Bev and I were the only ones using scooters but we wandered throughout the whole ballroom many times. Each time we paused to get by...we met a new friend. We were warmly welcomed by everyone. Bev called it a night after three hours ...I saw her back to our wonderful room at Four Seasons. I returned to the party. Our Hearts are so full having been able to travel to St. Louis. The Marines were there collecting Toys for Tots. We had our photo taken with them. I saw them load many boxes of toys throughout the night. It seemed every time I rolled past the front they were filling another box. This was the first time we came to the party. She never returned calls. Yet when the mother called she was quick to call her back or address her concerns. The one thing Joann did seem concerned about was money and threatening us over the fact she would take custody away from my husband even though no one was asking that. We on numerous times had to demand a bill which was inaccurate. Even now they have refused to give a final bill yet have demanded an additional 750.00 without showing us what we owe. Just saying it's in the final order which we have yet to receive from the court. I will be filing an ethics complain with the Bar against Joann for refusing to present us with a bill so I can take care of our debt. She is the worst GAL I do not recommend her at all.

I was told that if I contacted EEOC that my case could be handled by them but it would take about a year because they are busy. They said no doubt I would win and get my original position back. I told them I didn't want to get my old job back I wanted to sue them for discrimination and unlawful discharge, plus hostile work environment. I was told to just stop being a baby and get a new job. That with my credentials I wouldn't have a problem getting hired. I found a real attorney. He sued the pants off my former employer. I got a very large settlement. He was happy. I was happy. Best of all my old employer won't try that with anyone else. Stay away from this firm.
