This is one of the worst security companies in the world. When I had an issue, I had to call them, and the guy was so lazy, he didn't even want to come out to help. There was a homeless man sleeping inside my building in the locked and secure staircase. He would sleep there every single night and this security company never checked nor cared, putting me in my guests in great danger. No one knew how the homeless were getting in, but somehow they were camping, doing drugs, and leaving an encampment mess inside. I kept calling back every single day and they did nothing. Why do we hire these people? I wish we had Mission security instead because they did nightly checks. We pay for Bomar to do nightly checks, but not only do they not do that, they don't even come out when you are in the middle of an issue. read more

Had an issue with a Bomar Security Guard at the Santa Maria Airport. I did not get his name, but he was a short older male (5'4), looked to be in his late 60's early 70's. He had gray hair and glasses. I was happy to find out today after reporting my issue that he had been terminated from the company. I give 5 stars because it seems like Bomar Upper Management is solid and means business. As for the Ex Security Guard, if you ever read this...I hope you get the worst case of diarrhea in the middle of the night and you discover that your last toilet paper roll is wet! read more

company pays low wages and does not treat there employees well. I was working at a site where I was stationed in a small security booth that had no power. when the temp. got below 30 degrees, I asked if there was anyway to provide heat to the security shack. they refused, so I complained, two weeks later I was terminated. read more

This past summer my complex was struggling to respect the officers from Bomar Security. One officer in specific hated teenagers and it was shocking they aloud him in this profession. The other night he tried to confiscate a tenants tightrope without authority. The tenant followed him to management since he would not return it to her. The nighttime manager ridiculed him and forced Leroy to give the tightrope back to the girl. He is obnoxious and rude. Other security officers are friendly and approachable. However Leroy walks around with a scowl on his face and you can see the thrill he gets from yelling at tenants. Late at night Leroy can be spotted sitting in his car on his phone or napping. Many apartment units have gotten broken into lately and no doubt under Leroy's watch. I do not recommend Bomar Security or at least the officer Leroy. read more

We unfortunately have the worst security officer at La Brezza Apartments. Although we live in a student only complex, our security officer Leroy seems to enjoy ruining every single night he works. Other security officers understand that it's summer and try to reason with the students or at least warn them before he reports it to management. However Leroy makes sure to shut any party down by 9:30 even though our curfew is 10. and then he complains to management and the houses still get incident reports even though they comply. the worst part about Leroy is that he yells in your face and push open doors as if he is an actual cop. I've also witnessed several times Leroy peaking through my windows and others and it makes me very uncomfortable. He thinks he has authority however he does not have anyone's respect. as students we would rather comply with officers that reason with us instead of running up screaming at us and making the scene more dramatic then it needs to be. he is an awful officer and an even more awful man and I definitely will not be living at any complex that has bomar security next school year. Leroy has made this summer truly miserable and he enjoyed every minute of it. read more

I have had a horrible experience with Bomar security and would not recommend their services to my worst enemy. I had the unfortunate experience of having Leroy as a security guard at my apartment complex. Not only is he rude and disrespectful, but also tried to tow MY friends car for parking in MY parking spot after I had prior asked him if it was okay. If I don't have a car, I don't understand why my friend would not be allowed to park in my parking spot if no one else could use it anyways. Leroy has also threatened tenants with violence and even physically assaulted a cab driver for coming onto the property to pick up a tenant living there that was having a hard time getting his bike onto the back of the cab. My apartment complex has a curfew of 10:00pm, but Leroy gets joy out of peeking through windows and yelling at us to turn our already quiet music down at 9:30pm without having had any complaints from other tenants. When Leroy isn't antagonizing tenants, he can be found sleeping in his car. Countless items have been stolen form people's cars and apartments while Leroy was on duty. Bomar needs to seriously reconsider the people they hire to work for their company. If Bomar could hire someone as incompetent as Leroy, I don't want to live anywhere where Bomar security is present. I actually had to move out of my apartment complex early because I was tired of being harassed by Leroy. I don't write many reviews so please take that in to consideration if anyone is still considering hiring bomar security( the worst security company in Santa Barbara). read more

We live in Montiavo Apartments and Bomar is a joke. We have very noisy neighbors and we have called Bomar and the Santa Maria Police Department to quiet these kids as well as complain to the front offfice. We foubd out that the "officer" that works Friday and Saturday night is friends with the boys making all the noise. We called Bomar and spoke with Mike, the manager about this problem and he asked for specific dates and times that we called, we provided him with the information and he told us that his officers responded to one call within 13 minutes, when we asked him about the other times he told us it would take him a while to pull up the times. We informed Mike that the issue isn't his officers getting there, but that they party with the boys when they do get there. Mike's response was "oh well, it is what it". If Bomar is the security team for your apartment, just call the cops, depending on them to do teir job is a joke. I would give zero stars if i could. read more
