Despite the salon being nearly empty, we waited an unreasonable amount of time for service. What made the situation even more frustrating was seeing employees standing around talking and socializing while customers continued to wait. It was obvious that the problem was not a lack of customers, but a lack of organization and management. After waiting far longer than we should have, I decided not to receive service and only had my wife get her nails done. While her nails turned out okay, the quality was average and nothing stood out as exceptional. The results certainly did not justify the excessive wait. There are too many nail salons competing for business to tolerate this level of service. Customers deserve to feel that their time is valued and respected. Elisa was working alone and when the manager Laura I think was her name arrived she took one of the clients waiting. Elisa told the manager that the kids were first and she checked the screen for the appointments or arrivals. She asked who we were. Elisa told her we had appointment under Angie. She then proceeded to tell Elisa on front of the customers that the other person was there before us. It was unprofessional for her to address the issue in front of customers. She should have addressed the issue with Elisa in private or when there were no customers. Luckily it did not cause a problem. I did not like how she addressed the issue and made us feel uncomfortable. The manager was very unprofessional.
