A gentleman puts a hot bowl of acetone in front of me to soak off my previous nail polish then brings a paper towel for me to try and get it off myself. I got tired of waiting so i paid for removing my nail polish and left. They sent me a survey asking for my feedback and you can see their very professional response below. Heres an answer to your question....instead lf asking if I can show you where to find people working, heres a damn tip.... educate the people you have....this would increase their earning potential and your profits. I am based in San Antonio, but when I am home, I am so busy. What I have found that if I do an overnight in Laredo, this is the perfect place for me to catch up on some grooming....like my nails! It's a very nice and clean salon. The owner and I have great conversations and I've had pedicures and gel manicures done there. Then she started digging in the side of my toe and tore out skin and I told her ouch that hurts stop and she kept on to the other point my toe is red and sore . I wish I knew her name but she didn't have a name tag and she didn't write her name in the piece of paper . But she had a shirt on that had a pink bear and black leggings . Their current reviews are mixed and outdated so I threw caution to the wind and went in hoping for the best. It turned out to be a great experience! There's hand sanitizer as soon as you walk in with a sign instructing you to clean your hands when you enter. It was 2pm on a weekday and there was no wait. Everyone inside wore a mask and were seated socially distant. Lu Lu greeted me, offered me a beverage then proceeded to do a great job on my mani pedi, she took her time and was very gentle. I asked for a pedicure and was assigned a male older man to do my pedicure.No questions were asked on what I wanted nor the price to proceed .He simply sat me down With no communication and visible attitude. Working on my toes like he was in a rush , there was no scrubbing or nothing done. He simply painted my toes and called it a pedicure. Charging 45$ for that? Bad service and being rushed out when no other person was there. He didn't even let my toes dry just threw me out the door with those paper sandals that smudged the nail polish as I was paying.Left disappointment and with tears of anger. This is usually a treat for us women and I would hate for anyone to ever experience this.

Once he had the tips glued on my nails, he let me know it was going to be 60 if I wanted natural French tip nails. I accepted and he continued on my nails. He never asked me what nail shape I wanted, he just did them as he pleased. I was later told to switch seats and a lady started to work on my nails. She requested for me to go wash my hands when I came back, the price changed again she informed me it was going to be a total of 65 dollars. Seems very unprofessional to give a customer price and then when you begin to work on the nails to switch the price. This is one of the reasons I don't get my nails done at nail salons anymore.
