Went here this morning to take a look at the Dewalt tools since they have a great selection. People there are polite and helpful. Been here numerous times, sometimes with coworkers who've gotten distracted by the baby chicks. This is a great little farm store that has quite a few options. I went in to buy a pair of rubber boots for my husband, but really I was there to look at the baby chicks. I could hear their peeps a couple aisles away. It's worse than kittens and puppies in the cuteness index. All I could do to step away...I gotta build a hen house first because they can't live in a cardboard box with a light bulb for long and my husband would kill me if I turned the walk-out into a barn :) Hurry, chick days is over on March 16th, but you can take these babies home or put in your special order for feather legged bantams, Rhode Island reds, or what-have-you online. read more

I have had mostly good experiences at this location, however, today I called to see if I could text a photo of a riding lawn mower spring, to see if they could check their general purpose spring inventory, and was told by "Larry" that he did not have a cell phone I could send a text to, and further that no employee at that location had a cell phone I could text the photo to...I live out of town and did not want to take the trip in vain...this level of customer service at this day and age, is unacceptable and it just goes to show that Customer Service at this location is very low on their priorities...you will not be seeing this customer there in the future... read more

Twice I have gone to the small engine shop for repairs. First time, I brought in a lawn mower and told them it needed carb work. About a week later, they called to say that it would cost more than the mower. They then charged $25 because they supposedly looked at it. Two weeks ago, I brought in a weed trimmer that needed the generic hose from the gas tank to the carb. They said they would call me with an estimate before working on it. A week later, they called to tell me that the weed trimmer was too old to get parts. This time they charged me $23.95 because they looked at it. (even after I told them what I needed). I was going to purchase a new one, but it will definitely not be from this store. Just be aware, that if you talk to small engines - it is going to cost you $24-$25.
