My parents used to have a membership back in the day and I looked forward to going. I just recently purchased a membership. My fiancée and I went on a weekend. It was super packed. The items were fully stocked, organized, and aisles were marked so you are able to find what you are looking for. We found a lot of great deals. They have mark downs of items they are trying to get rid of. I love the food samples, their meat, frozen section, and random oddities. Sam's also offers, tires, optical and pharmacy. My Mr and I haven't tried the cafe, but will partake the next time we visit. Check out was very smooth. There were lines but every register was open. We didn't have to wait long. We did the self check out. They no longer do the cards. You use their app on your phone, pull up your membership number and there is a bar code you scan. Overall, we had a great experience and looking forward to a year of saving more money. I'll always be a Sam Club member.

Completely disappointed and angry with how they have changed their Baker's Dozen Rewards Program…read more Instead of rewarding you your "free" bag of pet food immediately, you now have to wait a month or more for it to show up in the mail, on a flyer, so anyone can steal it. When I spoke with someone at the store, they said that once a month, corporate mails out all the rewards they have for that month. Really? Then, you get an email that says "Your free bag is on the way"! (Well, not really on the way because you're given a window of 30 days for it to arrive) 30 days for something to be mailed by a company with 32 locations in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana? When we contacted "corporate" to let them know we hadn't received our certificate, they said they'd send out another free certificate right away. One week later, when we called to find out why we still hadn't received our certificate, we were told they can't just send out another one, as the company they are using can't print out just one certificate at a time, we'd have to wait another month for the next batch of certificates to be printed and mailed. Our expected delivery date: April 13th. Logged onto the system last night and now it's April 24th for the dog food, May 2nd for the cat food. To make it even more confusing, if you buy a large bag for a the price of a small bag, you get credited only for the small bag in your Baker's Dozen Account. So after a while you'll have credit for some small bags, some large bags, and you're that much further away from getting to your 13th free bag. So even though I bought large bags of cat food at a discounted price, I'm only going to be credited for 1 small free bag of cat food. I've talked with other friends who shop there and are having the same exact problem. Sorry Jack's...whoever sold you on the idea of making your customers wait more than a month to receive something "free" based on being diligent, dedicated customers, probably has cost you those same diligent, dedicated customers. Can't you just email a certificate?

The Dollar tree on Ridge is closer to me, but they seem to always be out of something I am looking for (once they were out of paper towels, wtf!). The Beechmont store however is so big, it is guaranteed you will find what you are looking for in mass quantity. The store gets heavy traffic, but it is never crowded and lines are not long. My gripe with the Ridge location is they will only have one counter open for checkout and a line going all the way down an aisle. This location, you can be sure to get in and out. I like Dollar Tree because I love candles. I am one of those people who buy candles and never burn them lol. But with Dollar Tree, since everything is only $1, I can burn yummy candles all I want, and save the good stuff (L'Occitane verbena or Diptyque baies) for special occasions (ie. never lol).

They're pretty big with lots of pet supplies for any pet. They're pretty also do grooming, bathing, and nail trimming for cats and dogs. Juliet, one of the staff there, was very friendly and helpful to me in my search. She made some nice recommendations on sprays and ideas for scratching posts to put on my furniture to help too. Overall, prices on everything are pretty nice. I have a feeling I may return here for goodies for my cat.

The store is organized however there are some sections that are cluttered. So it's kinda like Aldi find, once the items are gone, that's it. We left out only spending $29.00. Most items we bought were under $3.00. I even scored a hard back air frying recipe book. They even have a rewards program which you can join for free. I'm a fan!! Definitely worth checking out.

The woman who helped me rung them up and announced to me the price, with tax was $14.00. Whoa. She charged me $12.99, saying the price on the door was wrong. She should have charged me the marked price. It is not only wrong to overcharge a customer, it is illegal. If an item is marked a particular price, but it changes at the register to a higher price, it is a bait and switch. It was only a dollar, but that dollar cost them any future business from me, a bad yelp review and I will tell everyone I know not to shop there. I will never set foot in there again. They can keep that fucking dollar.

The employees are consistently kind and helpful, and a real highlight is the manager. She is incredibly involved, clearly proud of the store, and it shows in how well everything is run. They also host community events, which I really appreciate. I recently went to their farm festival, and they had local vendors, a food truck, and a little petting zoo. It felt like a real community gathering instead of just a store promotion. It's nice to see a place that supports local farms and animal lovers like that. The management is really tied into the local community. They also donate to local nonprofits. One thing I noticed but did not try is the Pet Wash Station. It looks like you can bring your dog in to give them a bath yourself. Though I didn't try it, it was busy when I saw it! The location itself is also super convenient, right off the main road and easy to get in and out of. Overall, a great store with a great team, and one I'm really happy to support.
