Had been a longtime customer even after moving out of the area. When I discovered a recent delivery was sent without a note acknowledging who sent the flowers (confirmed this was in fact the second time it happened as another delivery was made from Bon Fleur without a note) I notified Bon Fleur stating my dismay, etc... A portion of the response from Madeline (owner/manager?) was as follows: "I am so sorry we forgot to write your personal message. With the amount of orders coming through on Valentine's Day something like this happens, unfortunately it happened to your order. The fact that it happened another time is completely weird". I signed up for Yelp just to review this florist. Last week, my father in law sent me an arrangement. It was beautiful but VERY small. There was scotch tape all over the vase so it cannot be used again. I was shocked to learn he paid $150 for it!! I think the arrangement would have been bigger if it had been picked up as opposed to delivered. Puh-lease!!! ----------------------------------------------------------- I am chuckling. Why, you ask? Well, when I use the Yelp app, a 5 star, glowing review was posted just minutes after mine by Debbie W. (not sure why I don't see it on the full site). I find it highly coincidental that, after months of no reviews, there were two posted within minutes of one another. Debbie W., seriously, couldn't you have waited a few days so that someone might have taken you seriously and not questioned your voracity? PUH-LEASE!!! Pleasant and very helpful staff and very tasteful floral arrangements .The Christmas selections are especially nice.However I am in agreement with another reviewer about the silk flower arrangements taking up more space than the fresh ones.This detracts from the lovely seasonal atmosphere I remember in the old shop.I realize that the everlasting arrangements are more economical for a lot of people, but some of us would definitely support Bon Fleur if a wider selection of fresh bouquets were on display! read more

I ordered flowers from Scottsdale AZ, hoping that an in town florist would be better than the other on line services. Unfortunately my uncle had a heart attack and caused my brother's family to be away for a few days. I had asked the florist to deliver them at the side door as they would be covered. They did not, and left them at the front door were they were snowed on. My sister in law called, and they refused to replace them and they were quite rude. Upset I also called, to get the owner, who was extremely rude and said the flowers would have died wherever they left them. I insisted that if they left them where I asked they would have had a chance and I would have accepted full blame. After threatening to call my credit card company to dispute the Over priced flowers, the owner agreed to redeliver. She did it herself. The flowers were sparse and just thrown together. She just threw them at my sister in law, not even saying she was sorry. I certainly will not use this florist again. As a former business owner, I would never have treated my customers like that and expected them to remain customers! I also paid over $75.00 for this Christmas arrangement. read more

My husband ordered flowers for me on Valentines Day and the flowers were absolutley out-of- this-world gorgeous! The design was contemporary, creative and unique with beautiful texture and full of a wide variety of usual and unusual flowers. The flowers were perfection for a full week and after removing just a few spent blossoms we enjoyed them for another 5 days. Not to mention the owner, Madeline. My husband was so impressed with her knowledge, customer service, and her cheery, sweet demeanor. She was accommodating and eager to please! Bon Fleur a hidden gem settled in New Canaan, Connecticut has great prices and does a wonderful with floral arrangements. I have never been so pleased with the personal, friendly service and attention to detail that Madeline and her staff put into the floral arrangements. My Office holds an annual holiday party and for the last seven years she has donated beautiful centerpieces to be raffled off in our tea cup raffle. Each year she chooses a different theme. The flowers are fresh, and the presentation is top notch! The packaging was beautiful and the nifty box the centerpieces came in made it easy to transport from the office to the venue site. Madeline has an incredible talent and is completely creative in her work. You can see her love and passion in every piece of work she does.
