    Vegetable udon
    Samantha W.

Came here last night with my fiancé and his cousin. They're both Korean and enjoy this place. I'm not the biggest fan since I'm vegan, they don't have many options for me. I'd rate it a 3.5 We ordered: gyozas, chicken teriyaki, spicy cold noodles and vegetable udon. My fiancé and his cousin both really enjoyed their dishes. My vegetable udon, where are the veggies! Would've been so much better with way more veggies and less udon noodles. Service is good. Family owned and run business, husband and wife team. Looks like the wife cooks and the husband serves. Pretty cute.

Hot Bone Soup - Pork spine, vegetables, green onion and hot peppers

Wow, what an amazing authentic Korean restaurant! Some of the best Korean food I've had in my life. The service is amazing, the food is reasonably priced and tastes amazing. I had the Hot Bone Soup - Pork spine, vegetables, green onion and hot pepper. I've never had hot bone soup before, but I love eating and trying different things. It was absolutely amazing. The dish is served with the bone, and the meat just falls off. Superbly cooked. So flavorful. It's basically another part of the rib. The broth was amazing. Great flavor development. But it's *super* spicy. I had a tingle on my tongue for a solid 15 minutes after I had finished eating. I even had a runny nose! I almost had a drop of sweat on my forehead! They did not ask for a spiciness level, so be aware!!!

Delicious meal with excellent service in a quiet, intimate space! Yum!

Delicious food with excellent service in a quiet, family-run restaurant. Not fancy but pleasant. Easy location with parking in the Glenmore area.

(Bibimbap) and some true Italian (Gnocchi and homemade Pasta) with the rest being slight variants of both. We had the Burrata salad with greens and roasted and fresh tomatoes (nicely skinned) with Pesto, Pune Nuts and a balsamic dressing. It was beautiful but needed more salt and acid to tame down the Burrata. Still a nice salad. We split the Patate Fritte which was fried potatoes and gnocchi with a really flavorful Chipotle Mayo. The whole dish didn't work. The gnocchi were over fried and too small to eat with the much larger potatoes which were also underdone. The Tuna Poke Bowl was very nice (and a good deal) with all of the usual components. The Salmon was cooked perfectly (crispy on the outside slightly translucent inside ) and came with a wasabi cream, lots of roasted veggies (potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, green beans) and somewhat random things like cornichons, caper berries, and beets. The whole thing worked but would have been better with some editing. I personally wanted more wasabi in the cream and wished that it didn't get watered down by all the veggies. They have a nice cocktail list and a decent list of wines by the glass, several local all fairly priced. The place is modern looking with windows overlooking downtown streets in two sides. The place is very modern with lots of metal and concrete and consequently lots of energy and lots of noise. I see this as a great space for a bunch of friends, less so for a romantic dinner. Overall I liked this place. It could be better and I would return. I love what they are aiming for.

And then I get sad when I eat pasta, chicken and fries and sandwiches for 3 days straight.... I just can't. So I was in desperate need of some medium grain rice when I headed into this place. I knew from the name that there was some Korean food options being served here. They have a bunch of Korean fried chicken options, but there are also Japanese foods like katsu on the menu that don't involve raw fish. I got the nigiri lunch special. For $21 in the heart of downtown Kelowna, I thought it was a fair price. The lunch special comes with 4 pieces of nigiri, a shrimp tempura/California roll, a few pieces of tempura, deep fried spring rolls, miso soup and a small salad. The salad dressing was good, but the leaves were a little old. Other than that, everything else was great. The tempura was so crispy and the roll was pretty good. The fish quality probably could have been better, but honestly this is middle America and I've had a lot worse. The service was sooooo nice. Everyone I've met in restaurants in Kelowna have been so nice and this was no exception. I loved that my water had a little slice of lemon in it and that they checked on me without being irritating. The food came out fast and I easily paid when I was ready to go. The inside has quite a few tables and nice heavy chairs that remind me of old, fancy Chinese restaurants. They even have an outside eating area. There are some other sushi spots along Bernard street, but this one was the closest to the waterfront. I enjoyed my experience here and would come back if I had the opportunity.

Highly recommend their mango dragon and ogopogo which I think are the most popular here anyway. All the rolls were great. Good rice to filling ratio and lots of fresh flavours. We also got the snow onion fried chicken. Very very nicely fried chicken. Love the crispy and thin batter. The chicken is still juicy too! Service here is also fantastic. Really friendly and always checking in on you to make sure everything's great, without interrupting your meal. Just a great place to go with friends wether for a nice catch up or a quick meal.
