This is probably one of the most affordable shops on the square. If you go straight back, at least at this time of year, they have a Christmas section in the back with Christmasy stuff like ornaments, decorations and a few gift ideas. Right now, they have the "Any B*tch Can" series ... Can cook, etc. Really cute. I originally stopped in to pick up gifts, and one of my favorite touches was that they gift wrapped everything for me. It made me feel special as a customer, but it also saved me the extra stop of having to buy gift bags, paper, or tissue. Such a thoughtful service and honestly a brilliant touch. The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. I could easily spend an hour in here just browsing, discovering little treasures, and enjoying all of the amazing scents throughout the store. They also have unique jewelry, keychains, and other beautiful gifts that make it easy to find something for almost anyone. I went in and found your books, and I also visited the clearance section and found the most wonderful chocolate for giftgiving. Everything was a great price. I don't remember if they offer military discount or not, but I will definitely ask next time. The location was convenient, parking was easy with the nearby garage, and even my children enjoyed walking through the store with me. This wasn't just a shopping trip. It felt like an experience. She has a great mix of antiques and things for decorating a back yard garden, an elegant front porch or a charming sunroom. She also has some of the neatest novelty items and great prices. There was a huge three-tiered plant stand for $85 the time before last that I was in. I stopped in today and she has a stock of Tibetan prayer flags. Some of the antique items can be expensive but you'd be surprised at how affordable most of the other items - particularly furniture-type items can be.
