He was very positive when we spoke to him and set up an appointment to come over to our home. He did not show up for the appointment and did not call to explain or apologize. My wife called him and he apologized and gave an excuse. She set up another appointment with Anthony. The date came and went again with no call no show from Anthony. Anthony Hargus' behavior is disappointing and unprofessional. If he did not want to work with us then he should have said so. Anthony had us set aside our time on two separate occasions and had us wait for appointments he was never intending to come to. I do not recommend Downtown Realty and especially Anthony Hargus. Pick an agency that is true to it's word.

W live about an hour from the store in the mountains. We were greeted with a friendly and courteous staff. We explained our situation and needs. There was no high pressure sales at all. We picked out our carpet. A couple days later the estimator came by took measurements and gave us our quote and answered any questions we had. It was a week from the time we picked out our capet to installation. The install crew was very courteous and friendly. Did a great job. 6 hours from the time they arrived to the time they left. They went a little above and beyond as far as moving furniture and things as I had been suffering from a back injury so was very limited in what I could do and prepare. That was a nice touch of customer care. We ran into a couple issues which Thompson's solved quickly with no hesitation. Being we live so far from the store I figured we'd get hit with extra install fees due to distance and travel time. We were not. Being so far away our deposit was taken over the phone and final payment was made a few days after install since it was the day before a holiday weekend which saved us a tremendous amount of time. Very pleased with the whole process and transaction. Our cost was well within range of other vendors and acceptable. Couldn't have asked for anything more during the whole process. We're happy with our choice and would recommend Thompson's to anyone for their flooring needs.

My side gate was a little wonky because my gardners like to step on the gate handle and jump over, rather than use the key. Yelp recommended a few companies I would have never known to call. Jerry's welding company out of Porterville was one of them, and I am super pleased to have been matched with him. I reached out and Jerry was very responsive. He gave me a few ideas and could have even fabricated a whole new gate. I decided to just work with what I had and his ideas were just what I needed. He even had ideas I had not thought of, such as adding a key pad on the gate that would allow for a code, so it will be easier for my gardners to access the backyard without a key. Jerry was upfront regarding pricing, which allowed me to stay within my project budget. His ideas were a great fix to my problem, and I am extremely happy with the outcome.
