Mark was suppose to come this afternoon, but due to weather he called and asked to come early (mine was an indoor job, and it was raining, so his other job had to wait). That was more than agreeable with me. Mark and his helper showed up on time, they were friendly and respectful. They got right to their work. The job was a bit more complex than either he or I had expected and took a bit longer, but he powered through. When it came time to settle up, I was anticipating him saying the job was bigger and the price had gone up, but he is an honest man, and quoted the agreed upon price. That is rare today. The work is done, it looks great. I would highly recommend Mark and The Whole 9 Handyman Services.

I would never use or recommend White Glove Painting!!

Chance was always there to answer my text and or emails. However, the work itself was awful. Everything from the kitchen was suppose to be individually cleaned and placed into a box due to the toxicity of the fire smut. However everything was just tossed (literally) into boxes. Broken glassware among other things. Some items were just placed in random spots in the garage. I've been finding them for 4 months now. Nothing was cleaned well, most items still had the powder from the fire extinguisher. Staples were left in the wall, crown molding was damaged, paint was damaged from the tape used, and the adhesive was left on wall & floors. After everything was said and done, the toxicity test still showed an elevated level. All that being said, when I contacted a claim adjuster they said they heard of fides, and he does great work, just not for fires. Which was my experience.

Added recessed lighting, new fan and new lights with dimmers. They have an in house electrician and a large crew of drywall specialists. So there's no waiting for someone to come finish the job in stages. My house was vacant during all of this and yes, the popcorn removal is a big messy job. But when they were finished, OMG you'd never know they were here. The ceiling looks amazing. Demi took about a week and is also perfect. Electrician moved the light switch and the vanity light spot. I cant say enough about Jack Doucette, the owner. He really cares about you. He even gets his hands dirty. My neighbors saw them at my house and hired them too. Just do it! Their team is reliable, honest, and so responsive that I felt like I was some sort of VIP. From the start I found their quotes to be reasonable, and it was clear that the attention to detail they gave set them above the rest. They have painted my house, done work on my patio, have painted many friends of mine homes. Never once have I heard anybody give them anything but praise because they do live up to the standards we all expect. When they say you're home is your temple, they certainly treat it like that.

I tried to contact the Captians Painter for 6 months before they reluctantly responded to my concerns and sent a painter to do some touch ups. At this time, the painter and I found many other areas where poor paint coverage were discovered. Now less than 1 year later there are more areas where paint is peeling on the walls, soffit, and facia. I recommend you do not hire The Captains Painter. They did very poor preperation and painting work at my home. I am no hiring another contractor to repaint the areas that are peeling. This is very disappointing.
