My daughter has been struggling with severe acne breakouts, possibly from hormones, allergies, or…read morean unknown cause and we went to Doctor Anand Thakkar hoping for some real help. Unfortunately our experience has been extremely disappointing. We were charged over $1,000 the very first day for bloodwork, and given a treatment plan costing around $3,500. We were told she would see improvement in 3 months and results in 6 months. It has now been over 4 months and not only has my daughter not improved, her condition has actually gotten worse. The doctor has only seen my daughter twice, despite promising weekly zoom call check ins. Most of the time he is unavailable, does not return calls, and when we finally reacher him last time- he was extremely rushed and the visit lasted 5 minutes (him standing by the open door). The supplements that were part of the treatment plan were constantly out of stock or on backorder, leaving my daughter without the support we were supposedly paying for. Overall, I feel the communication, follow-through, and quality of the care have been far bellow what was promised. My daughter has missed school, and has been in a difficult emotional state because she truly believed this treatment would help. At this point we feel we need to seek care somewhere else. It has been a month and a half since our last IV therapy and we have not had a single call or check in for progress. I am sharing this so that other families know what we went through and can make informed decisions.

I went to this business with a little and occasional knee pain. I have confirmed osteoarthritis in…read morethat knee. It was on a special, something like $49 or $79, I forgot which but not much. I was looking for exercises I could do to strengthen the knee. That's all I wanted. They took X-rays and told me the other knee that I have no problems with was worse! They never mentioned the special and got me for over $500. They told me all the great things they were going to do. They called it physical therapy not chiropractic. They said they could have a therapist stretch my neck. I don't have problems with my neck but I thought a little neck massage by a therapist would feel good. So, when I got there for my first visit, they showed me a leg brace they wanted to fit me for. It was huge and covered most of the leg from the knee down. For what, occasional knee pain? I said no thanks. Then I went for "physical therapy". It was run by 2 young disinterested guys who talked to each other and obviously didn't care about the job. They were definitely not therapists of any kind. Next I went for a few minutes to the supposed real therapists and I thought, oh good, now he's going to massage my neck. No way! He never laid a hand on me. Only did something with a board that I can't even describe because I don't know what it did. Nothing as far as I could tell. Next I went to the nurse who would give me a gel shot in the knee cap. She did this and at my second visit gave me some little shots around the knee cap. The next day I went to the mall and had so much pain in my knee that I was limping down bad I had to go home. That was my over $500 experience with this place. I was worried about their diagnosis of the knee I had no trouble with, that the knee cap was out of joint, so I went back to the real doctors at Northwest Community hospital and got a real unskewed xray and they said that knee was fine. I quit Body Works after 3 visits and asked for the return of my money. I had been told that my insurance and Medicare would pay most of it. Now they told me, well it's not really physical therapy, it's billed under chiropractic and Medicare doesn't usually pay for that, but we will see. Now after months of reaching out to them, they finally told me that after 3 visits my $500 plus dollars was all used up and that I owed them even more but they weren't going to collect it! How nice of them! So go to Body Works if you want to see a real scam at work!

She asked questions and took my blood pressure. Felt my throat and looked in my ears to tell me I had some water and it would go away on its owe. The bill came and it was 580.00 dollars. WTF - for what - my doctor charges so much less. After insurance I still had to pay 140.00 dollars- what??? For real - That is what the appointment should have cost in total. So crazy - I will call my doctor next time.

My visit went fine but she has a bad attitude. Went online at 6:30 am to register for my "place in ". Tried on phone and PC and there was no option to "get in line" at this location. I kept trying and figured the "line" didn't open until the location opened at 8:30. Got online at 8:33 and it said I could get a place in line and the wait was 6 minute. Since it was only a 6 minute wait I got dressed and arrived at 9:05. There are 3 people in line ahead of me with a 40 minute wait! Ugh! The nurse practitioner came out and asked me if I was the next person. I responded with "I wish". And explained to her what happened. She explained that there were already people physically in line at the store at 7:00 am so she made the online "line" unavailable until 10:00 am. This should be stated on the website. If I had known that I would have gotten dressed and come at 7:00 this morning! This online sign up is seriously flawed. Not to mention, the way the nurse explained it was condescending and she lacked empathetic customer service. I'm not sick often so I don't know the ins and outs of getting a good place in line. CVS could do a much better job of explaining the process on the website.
