Beautiful Okace, Well Maintained, Happy Spot So this is a great place, super nice trails. No a long hike, less than a miles probably each way to see it all. Super short to just see the first falls. When you get to the big falls keep going around and up the stairs for more little falls and great scenery! This is a nice state Park so you will have a small fee that is what keeps the park nice. What are you waiting for? Go chasing some waterfalls.... Take a hike!

Bond Falls We almost missed this falls .. it was pouring ran and we turned around to drive out .. before long it stopped and saw a glimpse of blue sky. So we turned around again and gave it a shot. No one was at the both collecting the fee. we saw a skinny momma deer and tiny spotted baby deer .. but the baby jumped back to the trees before i got the camera. the falls were special .. after a week of great falls this was the cherry on top. Very large and unsual .. without stairs. yay!!! so glad we ended or Upper Peninsula trip with this falls. We'd stayed the night in Houghton with the idea of going to Copper Harbor and perhaps porcupine mountain .. but we decided to forego those and head home early. Hope to return in the fall sometime.

Lovely waterfalls! From the top, it is partially accessible to the top falls and then down some sketchy wet converter stairs that do have a handrail. From the bottom parking lot it is VERY ACCESSIBLE with a series of boardwalks! Gorgeous falls. Absolutely breathtaking g.

Super cool, POWERFUL waterfalls cascading down towards a cool walkway where you get a view of the biggest waterfall. Good walking trails, and trails off the trails that makes for a good workout if you're sprinting around.

The falls were awesome to behold, and the accessibility to them was great.

Went north for a little Labor Day camping with friends and ended up booked in at Lake Gogebic State…read morePark! Personally, I've never been to a campground where all of the sites are so close together. So just know that you'll kind of be on top of each other with little to no privacy. That being said, the park as a whole is very large and well-kept. There's a place to launch your boat (or jetski in our case), a nice swimming/beach area, volleyball and basketball court, as well as wonderful hiking trails. Oh and apparently it's the "best lake" for fishing, so I was told by the locals. We had both a tent and an RV in our group. With a big vehicle, there is a bit of maneuvering since the sites are pretty small. Be sure to book yourself on a site with water and electric if you need it as well, since not all of them provide that. Also note that this state park is pretty remote, with not much else around (I loved that), so if your short on supplies, plan ahead. All in all, we had such a fun weekend together! Next time I would probably just choose something a little less "open" to everyone around.

We enjoyed a week of camping with extended family. The sites are large with beautiful lake views,…read morethe park is well maintained by staff, we enjoyed the beach, boat launch, and horseshoe pits. Would give this park 5 stars if the electrical service was better. One post with two electric boxes is located in the center of four Rv sites which requires a lengthy cord to connect. Many people in our party had issues with circuits tripping.

Built maybe 2-3 years ago, it's a wooden boardwalk that starts at Lincoln Park and goes down to the Paint River. On summer nights, you can see an acoustic concert with local musicians like Whitewater, using the beauty of the river and the bridge as a scenic backdrop. There's no railing along the platform overlooking the river, so you get an unbroken view of everything. Just don't lean over too far, or you will join the lily pads and fish down below. The boardwalk veers to the right and goes for maybe what amounts to a city block. Walk slowly, take your time and you'll see native wildflowers, beautiful thistles, wild apple trees and a few wild raspberry bushes maybe. And if you're lucky, maybe you'll even get to see a deer up-close like we did one time. The boardwalk's design is elegant and well-thought out, merging nicely with the nature surrounding it rather than intruding upon it. If you stop to visit Crystal Falls for a few hours, I'd definitely recommend seeing this stop along the journey.

Unfortunately part of the Boardwalk was closed when I stopped with my family. I will definitely stop again when my family comes up next year!
