Bought a pair of diabetic sneakers had to have a second pair made a little bigger and return original ones because first pair was making marks on feet and toes became swollen and curved more than before second pair seems to be fine now sonI just went today to get fitted for work boots after consistently telling Peter i needed work boots with a defined heel he then tells me he doesn't have anything like that. This is something he should have told me from the start but apparently wasn't listening very well!! Don't think I will be returning plus the parking at this location is a NIGHTMARE!!! read more

HI I was fitted with a pair of diabetic foot inserts and bought a pair of sneakers the sneakers seemed fine but I only stood up i took them home. I wore them for about and hour and my LEFT foot was in so much pain i had to removed them and call for an appointment to take them back So i went to the appointment and spoke to peter the owner he took the sneakers and inserts and said they wiill call I got them back in about 3 days SAME problem, made an appointment took them back told peter i wanted a different pair with a narrower width he said GET OUT there is nothing wrong with the shoes. I left the shoes and inserts and called my Bank, I'm waiting to hear back from my bank Do not buy anything from this sellar he will NOT listen to you if you come back with a problem no stars read more

It's a very cold atmosphere. Poor customer service. The man there, Peter, didn't look at me as he spoke to me. No pleasant expression on his face, looked unfriendly and cold. It made me feel very uncomfortable. The woman there was a little better than he was but not much. There was no warm greeting and a smile from either of them. Poor customer service. The woman at the desk doesn't even say hello. She is very rude. She walked away from me as I sat and waited. The owner, Peter Bozovic was also rude. I should have walked out. Unfortunately I paid $550.00 for a pair of inserts. I had not picked out a shoe to make these custom. I called (after I got a 2nd opinion) to request a refund. I never received a call back. I called again today, the woman was rude on the telephone. They have a refund policy but never told me to look at a sign where it states it. It is not on the slip. Bond Shoe in Stoneham offers shoes and custom orthotics for people with foot issues who need special foot ware and custom orthotics. I went there to get custom orthotic inserts for Plantar fasciitis which was making it painful to walk. I found the gentleman who owns and runs the store, Peter Bozovic, to be knowledgeable and experienced. That may be the only nice thing I can say about him and the woman who provides his administrative support. I asked if they accept insurance coverage, and they said they did. But they would not submit a claim until I paid in full for their product. I found them to be overpriced and their product to be inferior to other custom orthotics I have owned in the past. My health insurance did cover the price of $450, but they would only submit a check to the provider. It took many phone calls and visits before Bond reimbursed me for my original payment. The people there are rude, and unsympathetic to say the least. Their orthotics are overpriced for what they deliver. I will never go back to this store again. I highly recommend that anyone with foot problems go anywhere else before they go here. read more

They couldn't care less about me. I have skin allergies and I wanted to know what were the materials made of that went into the making of the shoes. It was August of 2019 when I called them to have a pair of shoes made. When I called in October the woman who answered the phone told me they were half-way done researching the materials. I called again in December and she told me she didn't know the status of the research and she would call me back but she never called back and it is now February of 2020. If you have health issues they will not go out of their way for you. They are not worth the one star I rated them but I had to select at least one star to post a review. I don't know what I am going to do now since my feet ache and bother me all of the time from regular shoes. read more

This company is way overrated. The secretary in charge is rude and billigerant. I had gone there 16 months ago for a pair of orthopedic shoes because I'm diabetic with neuropathy. I had no problem getting my shoes because I had all the required paperwork. I received my shoes. A year later I needed a new pair. But because the secretary mislabeled my paperwork I couldn't get another pair because they were not payed by my healthcare providers. Because she mislabeled the paperwork. She expected me to do her work with tracking down the numbers she needed. I call my provider and got the information. I also called my podiatrist Dr. Rickards of Melrose to help me which she did. The secretary at Bond shoe still refused to make the change for some reason or of her incompetence. I recently called to check on my second pair and was told I would not get another pair because she was not paid. She then told me to go away and go somewhere else. I was flabbergasted. She was given all the information from my healthcare provider,my podiatrist,and primary care doctor. But she refused to make the proper adjustments to my paperwork. So here I am a diabetic with neuropathy and worn out shoes. I did find a place in Beverly called Beverly Podiatry. I called and bought my paperwork there. Come to find out they have many customers that came to them because of their experience at Bond shoes. I also found out they gauge their prices on shoes. I am getting the same shoe for half the price Bond Shoe chargers. My shoes at Beverly Podiatry are $150.00 compared to the $300.00 at Bond Shoe 16 months ago. Staff is grouchy. Not really into good customer relations. I witnessed an elderly woman tell Peter her doctor highly recommended sneakers for her. He very abruptly responded "don't listen to the doctor, listen to me" "I'm the doctor here". I could tell this poor woman was intimidated by him. She tried on several shoes and eventually bought something she didn't want because she was to afraid to speak up. read more

I will highly recommend Bond Shoe to anyone with foot problems. I suffered for years with plantar fasciitis. I tried everything, cortisone, night splints, special shoes etc. Peter at Bond Shoe knew exactly what I needed and in 2 weeks I was pain free. I am so impressed with their knowledge of foot problems and footwear. I'm a customer for life. read more

Poor customer service not even a hello when you walk in. Brought my mother in for orthopedic shoes now mind you most of the customers are senior citizens. In my case my mother is hard of hearing the woman who approached her was very unfriendly and seemed annoyed no patience at all. Shoes have to be ordered as they do not even have shoes available to try on. This was overwhelming for my mother as she came prepared to purchase a pair of shoes. This woman just walked away from her did not have the courtesy to explain this to her. I was able to explain to my mother you can be sized and when the shoes come in as we were told in a couple of weeks you can come back to try them on with no obligation to purchase. She agreed to be sized had to fine this woman again she was annoyed and as she was measuring my mother's foot with a nastiness about her said with that bone like that on your foot the shoes you want will not fit. Look for another pair. In the meanwhile the guy there was being very disrespectful to the customer he was dealing with. I have brought my grandparents here years ago when they were in Woburn square and they purchased several pairs of shoes through the years and where treated with kindness and respect. These two people working there should be ashamed how they treat people. Learn customer service and treat people with kindness. read more
