I was never told to get ultrasounds instead of standard mammograms. And I was definitely never told that implants are not FDA approved. In fact in 2011 at 48yrs old I was told no problems with implants all problems were resolved they were safe! No need to replace I'd be dead before I needed replacement. I developed capsular contracture soon after my first surgery and had to undergo a second surgery less than a year later -- to remove and replace the same implants. I should've stopped right then. My body was warning me. Fast forward: 14 years of unexplained illness, countless doctor visits, and hundreds of thousands of dollars later... I'm finally implant-free (had a grade 3 contracture before Explanting) and focused on detoxing and healing. Ladies! Please research Breast Implant Illness (BII). When I experienced little to no results and FULL movement of the injected areas, they brought me back to pitch me a 'touch up' a mere 10 days later at FULL price. Tricky. I passed and went to a new technichian who was baffled that the amount of Botox I recieved produced such underwhelming results, especially for a 'first timer.' My comments on their personal site were deleted and I had an aquaintance had her similar comments deleted as well. In fact, you'll have a hard time finding ANY comments on injectables on their page. Lipo performed by the Dr. himself, seems to produce many happy people. The assistants were just short of rude regarding my concerns and I doubt the good Dr. was ever even enlightened of my case. Do yourself a favor and seek an establishment who SPECIALIZES in injectables. Kitt helped guide me in many ways from understanding my goals, to answering any questions that I had, and to keeping in contact with me for the month following my procedure as well as after! I next want to mention Pati! She was the one who went through my pre op appointment with me! She was absolutely wonderful, I can't find words for how kind, caring and amazing she was. She explained everything to me about my procedure, to my medication, to my post op care. Her happy demeanor is contagious and I wouldn't have asked for anyone else! I also want to mention my surgeon, Dr. Gourley! He was absolutely phenomenal if I must say! From my pre op appointment, to my procedure! He answered all of my questions with ease and was very caring. He did an amazing job at making me feel absolutely comfortable during pre op as well as during my procedure. I even got to choose the playlist we listened to, which I thought was the cherry on top!!
