There was zero teaching and principal experience with the replacement and would barely qualify as a kindergarten teacher in the public system. They openly talk about underpaying teachers which explains the lack of quality in how they teach. The executive director is extremely arrogant and rude and criticized our student in the most demeaning way via email that would cost any public school employee their job. I would research the qualifications of the new head of school before considering West Lake. I don't see the value in paying $18,000 for a school that is run by someone that is nowhere near qualified.

There were countless truly amazing, giving, kind people at the luncheon and listening to their selfless and unbelievably generous contributions was too great for words even. It started with Dr. Randle a truly phenomenal Superintendent, a strong school board and superstar administrators and they undoubtedly maintain excellence campus-wide at each of the schools amongst staff entirely. By viewing their various social media outlets you will notice how much they show their appreciation taking every opportunity to give back to their devoted employees, it's amazing. She likes the school VERY much but whenever I come to eat lunch with her I see all the kids talking and not eating there lunches and when it's time to go they throw away everything even the stuff that they don't eat. Some of them only eat the chips for extras and not eat they're real lunch. Also they need to change the schedule because after lunch it's recess and when you run with still food in your tummy it starts to hurt your stomach and make you sit on a bench. All I know is that I believe my kid over a school (especially when she's able to identify the person in detail) so I took her out immediately. It's real pretty nice and clean but looks isn't everything when it comes to my child's well-being. What is sad and unfortunate today as I'm writing this 1 month later, is that she is permanently terrified to go back to any daycare no matter where I take her so she's having to be watched by family while I work which is not helping her development. This place permanently Horrified my daughter. I'd say Go at your own risk but sit your child down before you take them, and make sure that they are capable of telling you whether or not somebody touches them. And believe them.
