Aristoi is so much better than this. I have had 4 children attend through middle school and then go to public high school. Each one comes home saying how unprepared these kids are. Aristoi requires parents to be involved in their kids education, which is the key to children success. It is a difficult school, but worth the 10 mile drive there and back we make every day.

Well guess what, he wasn't. He was eating his snack at lunch then had no snack at snack time. It took me writing the dean to finally get the issue fixed after 2 weeks. The teacher wrote a new behavior report every day. Never once did she try to contact us to create a plan on how we can work together. She would send him to recovery every single day. We then got a call to speak with the head of elementary. while on the phone, my son somehow cut his finger. THREE adults were in the room at the time and not 1 could tell me how he cut his finger. At the meeting, there was no plan on how we can work together. During the meeting, they wanted my 5 year old son to sit in a room by himself while we had our meeting. This upset me because why make a 5 year old sit in a room by himself?!? We were asked what other options we have considered. We made the decision to withdraw from aristoi. It is clear that they do not want to work with students who have a hard time transitioning. Rather than understand the student, they rather cast them away. 0/10 would never recommend.

I am extremely disappointed at the lack of sensitivity from the school at this time during the Covid 19 pandemic. The school hasn't been sensitive to the financial constraints parents are facing. Sugar Creek Montessori has not adjusted the tuition for the time the school has been closed (two weeks now). They have charged parents for the normal curriculum which includes full time staff and materials but are only providing "ONLINE TEACHING" which should be offered at a discount. Some of us are out of work or have reduced incomes. Others are trying to manage the demands of working from home while taking care of our kids. I've sent multiple emails regarding a refund or at least a credit and all I get is a generic response "Thank you for your feedback". I have tried calling, but I of course do not get an answer. Understand, I am not giving you my feedback I need an answer! Your policy is "NO PRORATION FOR SICKNESS AND/OR VACATION", however, this is not a vacation, this is an unfortunate situation the world has encountered so all I am asking for is for fairness and my tuition to be valued at the product I am getting or lack of product to be honest. My child has been at this school for 2 years now and has enjoyed his time there. His teachers are great and he loves them very much. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE OF A SCHOOL!!!! My toddler was enrolled…read morehere for THIRTY days! I should have read the poor reviews before considering this school. From the very beginning it was chaotic. At orientation the principal announces that the pre-k teacher was no longer employed, and they were putting in two interim teachers who had been with the school for years. School started the following week so of course by this time it's too late to find your child a different placement. First week of school both interim teachers quit in the middle of the week, which led to two pre-k classes being combined and being taught by the teacher's aide. They then hired an uncertified "pre-k teacher" with only a high school diploma. Of course I wanted to meet her so I walk my child into the classroom and the new teacher just stands there, not even attempting to greet me or my child. After standing there for several minutes I decided to go ahead and introduce myself and my child. Second week of school I notice my child's lunch keeps coming home untouched, which was odd because I packed all his favorite foods. I then realized the school was not assisting him in opening the containers, so he was going from 7:45am-5:45pm with no food just a snack. When I brought this to the staff's attention, they denied not opening the containers, however, after that conversation I noticed his containers would come back with the food eaten. The following week I noticed when he would have toileting accidents, he would come home in someone else's pull-up even though I would pack additional underwear and pull-ups in his backpack. One day I picked him up from school and he reeked of urine. When I changed his clothes, I noticed he had on a dry pull-up, was put back in the urinated pants, but his change of clothes was still in his backpack. On his fourth week, the school had the audacity to call CPS on my family with claims of physical abuse. On this day I went to the school to pick up my child and was approached by a CPS investigator. Two nights prior my toddler decides to climb into my infant's activity chair and gets his legs stuck inside causing a bruise on his legs. Thank goodness I have cameras throughout my home and was able to share the video footage of the incident from start to finish with the investigator where it shows how it took me five minutes to pry him out of the chair, and me putting ice packs on his legs to try and reduce the swelling and bruising. The investigators statement was "this was just a boy being a boy," (my exact thoughts). However, the thought of what could have happened had I not had that footage is devastating. Not to mention both my fiancé and I hold professional state licenses working with children. The issues this could have caused us professionally had we not had video proof is insurmountable. To add more to the embarrassment and humiliation the investigator had to do her due diligence of contacting my nanny and other friends of the family for statements. If you are a parent looking for a nurturing, positive learning environment where your child will flourish and has a low staff turnover, I recommend finding a school with trained, certified, and professional staff.

The facility is very run down and the quality of care is just very poor…read more The building is clearly repurposed or a childcare facility which I fine but the front door was not closing and locking so my husband told the owner's over and over a period three weeks to fix it. He finally got fed up and told them that it was unacceptable and that it needed to be fixed by the end of the week before they finally acted. We only needed before and after school for our kids and it was an awful experience. We left after three weeks. One of our daughters has severe ADHD and has difficulty with impulsive control. The morning drop off and evening pickup is just chaotic, which does not work well for her. She had a tough morning and began acting out so they held her arms and legs and then threatened to throw her shoes away. This all happened in the 45 minutes that they needed to care for her before she got on the bus to go to school. When we picked her up, she had red marks on the back of her arms. This was 9 hours later. Kids with ADHD get a bad reputation but it's disgusting to treat a tiny 6 year old that way. We moved then to Children's Lighthouse and they're both doing really well.

The learning habits she formed at MHFC made her successful and middle school and now in high school. Beyond academics, she gained exposure to different cultures, learned to respect and accept diverse opinions, and build friendships that will last a lifetime. Even after leaving MHFC, our daughter continued to stay connected. During school vacations, she returned to visit and help which classroom chores. Now in high school, she volunteers at MHFC, an opportunity the school gladly offered. This encouragement for alumni involvement reflects on the school's deep care for its students, long after they graduate. Accessibility matters deeply to our family, and I expected more flexibility and understanding. After several emails and phone calls with their administrative staff, I honestly felt like I was an inconvenience. The tone was dismissive and a bit snooty, which was disappointing.
