Even though it's located in the same building as her vet's office, my dog runs in the door when she is going to see Katie. After the service, clients can opt to have a photo taken on a fun backdrop- with props if they're the kind of dog to put up with props. There's a new background each month. All that, and her prices are some of the best in the area. Way less than the chains. Her salon is clean and well-maintained and she always has treats available for pups to go. I have a…read moreMaine Coon with an incredibly thick coat and a tendency towards deep mats when he does his twice-yearly shed, and Pawfessional is the only place I'll take him to. The staff is friendly, and my cat comes back shampooed, de-matted, and trimmed down. They're always very responsive to any specific grooming requests, and he comes back happy and unharmed, which isn't always the case with other groomers I've taken him to. The facility is small, but the price is frankly cheap for excellent work. They've also been able to get me in very quickly, and they're excellent at doing what they can to accommodate the client's needs involving dropping the pet off and picking it up. I highly recommend them.

Both dogs are beautiful, incredibly healthy, and have been amazing additions to our family. And I really can't say enough good things about Famn Damily. I've been there twice now. With my family. In both cases we drove 240 miles to get there, just because we realized what a special place it is, and because we knew we didn't want to get our puppies from any place else. You set foot on the farm, and you see dogs that are truly living their best lives. They have so much space to run and play, they are so well cared for, and so loved, and so clearly happy!! And healthy. And the facilities that have been constructed for the dogs, that clearly took a great deal of time, money and effort to build, are very impressive. Melodie Hammond runs the farm. And she's amazing. I know that my future dogs will be golden retrievers, simply because I know I only want to get puppies from Melodie, from Famn Damily, and Golden retrievers are what she breeds.
