I was a patient of Bons orthodontist for 2 years, probably because of the poor care given to me. I had multiple inconveniences where I would have to randomly come in because my wire was out or something was cutting me. Everytime for the 2 years I was there they ran late and caused me to be late or in a rush to other things. This place of business is very unprofessional and has many flaws. As a owner of the business Bons should be respectful enough to talk to an parent that have questions, rather do so Bons decide to hide in the back and does not want to deal with a concerned parent. Bons told his receptionist to tell me to sit and wait until he finish with ALL his clients , really 5min to talk to a concern parent and he cannot do that ? When you take my money for sure you don't tell me to sit and wait, but now since I finishing paying my concern does not matter ? The ortho staff is wonderful and know what they are doing. Who doesn't know what they're doing is the billing folks/those who deal with insurance. They have given me false information, not responded to my insurance company's requests for additional information and then try to pass those unpaid costs onto me, when I have coverage. Very frustrating when you can trust the insurance company over the office providing the services. read more

I was a patient of Dr. Bons back in 2015. Dr. Bons and his staff were amazing then and they are still amazing. I returned to get a replacement retainer and Dr. Bons reminded me all over again why I loved being a patient of his. I really appreciate the love and care from these professionals. If you need an orthodontist, seeing Dr. Bons is a no-brainer -- for both adults and kids. They don't let you wait with your children, or in the waiting room while the children are being worked on in the back. Was told by the front desk to go wait in my car for an hour and a half. I'm not really comfortable just dropping my kid off for an hour and a half while they work on her. But of course they don't tell you that you can't wait there until after you pay the $600 deposit. Knowing this now I would go somewhere else. Recommend going somewhere else. read more

Beware of Lilly. Terrible 3 of the 4 times she's done anything with my braces I've had to go back and have them redo what she messed up. Awful and rude and not gentle with your mouth. I would never let her come close to my kids mouths. She thinks it's funny when she stabs you with the wire or rips the bracket off of a tooth that is being pulled down. Tammy is great dr bons is great. He needs to let this person go she is bad for business. Everyone else in the office is amazing. If it weren't for lilly they would get 5 stars. She's terrible. And I find out that she works with the "special needs" children. Omg they are probably terrified when they leave and won't say anything about her because they are afraid. She needs to BE GONE ASAP! read more

Long waits, difficult making appointments, and unfriendly office. Ended up switching 2 kids halfway through treatment to a different orthodontist. My kids where unhappy and constantly complained that they where never being explained anything. Sorry I didn't make the switch earlier. Lily who worked on me most of the time really helped me through the process. She always made me feel at ease and gave me the best pointers to make my time in braces seem like a walk in park. I love the staff at Bons Orthodontics ! They are friendly and professional. The office uses the best technology, even signing in for check ups and email reminders. They work with me on my crazy schedule and allowed me to come in a few minutes early so I could head out to a family dinner. Overall I've had a great experience in this office starting with the girls at the front desk, all of the assistants are extremely nice and gentle, and dr. Bons is an awesome orthodontist. I read a review someone posted a month ago about lilly, one of the assistants, and I have to disagree, Lilly has worked in my mouth several times and she has never once hurt me or misplaced anything, she knows what she's doing and explains her process as she's working on you, she even encourages me to finish school so I can become a hygienist! Dr. Bons is excellent, very professional, cares about his patients. I had Invisalign but never wore them so I went back to his offices and he changed it for the regular braces, at no cost or questions asked. I recommend him. I am a female in my 40's going through the process of braces for the very first time. I have been a patient now for 27 or 28 months. Interviewed 5 orthodontists before I chose Dr. Bons. Dr. Bons was the only orthodontist I met with that would help me with my issues. I went to see 5 in total; 3 were afraid and said my mouth was a can of worms and 1 wanted to break my jaw and Dr. Bons. I can't say enough about his staff, his patience and his professionalism. Although my process was very long and painful because I have very sensitive teeth my experience has been nothing short of stellar. All the ladies that work for him are super nice and professional -- but there is one that is extra special Lily. If it weren't for Lily and her kindness and patience with me I could not have gotten through it.
