On our tour of the facility Ms. Terri was thorough and warm and answered all of our questions. And once enrolled, our son Nolan loved every minute. Seemed that every day he came home talking about something funny or nice that Ms. Amy did for the class. (She's one of his favorite people ever!) He entered at 4, hardly able to identify letters and numbers, and graduated yesterday with tons of progress. He has started reading, can count to 100, knows more species of animals than any adult I know, and most importantly for me, has developed a lot socially. He enjoyed the time with friends at school so much. They are affordable, flexible and understanding of parents schedules. If I had to list a complaint, it would be that they don't have an outdoor playground/space. (But their indoor play space is pretty good, and there is actually a playground directly east of the building for an after school stop) All in all this place gets a 5 out of 5 from me and I highly recommend them for any parents of young kiddos. She is really great with the little ones. She treats your kids like her own. I had researched about 4-5 other MMO programs and I was the most comfortable with Little Dreamers and Ms. Lela. His current 3 year old teacher is also great and he's learned how to trace letters, write his name, and do both art and science projects. My youngest son (19 months) started going to the MMO program this year and has really learned a lot from Ms. Lela. They focus on playing and learning through singing. He knows his numbers (1-10), his alphabet, "Itsy Bitsy Spider", and hums to others. Things that I really like about the preschool: 1. I like that there's a lunch bunch option where you can add a lunch hour to your kid's day until 1pm. You can change it monthly. 2. I also really like that there is a carpool lane that you can use for drop-off and pick-up. This is really convenient, especially if you have an infant or younger child who isn't going to preschool yet or who may have fallen asleep on the way for pick-up. 3. Cleanliness 4. School library where the kids can "checkout" books to read. They started that this year and my son likes to get two news books daily! 5. Option for parents night out - they offer once a month on Fridays for a parents night out. We did this once, but haven't done it since due to our kids' early bedtimes. The only thing that I wish the school had was an outdoor play area. They do have a room dedicated for play with slides and trains though so they do get some playtime. With only a few months remaining in his school year we started kumon with Miss Lan Ye and Miss Karen. It has been incredible the progress he has made. His reading and sight word recognition improved dramatically. He has now progressed to first grade and is reading at an exemplary level. In addition he is now taking math and has quickly mastered addition problem solving. Their program has been just what we needed to get our son off to the right start! Thank you Lan Ye!

I wanted to talk to her about general practices she would do with my son for stuttering and all she wanted to talk about was insurance billing and pricing and what school he attends. I am sorry, but your fee of 65 dollars a week and 250 dollar upfront fee is not worth stressing about if we're talking about a child's speech that will impact the rest of their life. When I expressed my feelings of not being sure why she kept talking about insurance she hung up on me. From the beginning, my daughter absolutely loved her teachers, and that made all the difference. Like many families, we experienced a few transitional bumps at first, but the team was incredibly patient and supportive throughout. They never made us feel like a burden, and instead welcomed us with understanding and kindness. Ms. Rose was especially helpful during the enrollment process, making everything clear and smooth. Since Ms. Tawanna joined the team, she has been a fantastic communicator and listener. Her knowledge and genuine care for the children and families really stand out. We truly love our school and feel so lucky to be part of the La Petite Academy family.

She has created nothing but chaos in this school for parents and students. She has un-enrolled at least 2 students for no reason, leaving parents to try and find daycare with no notice. She did not work with the students or parents, gave no notice and just un-enrolled them. This puts parent's jobs in jeopardy. I have seen her very combative, especially with fathers. She is rude on the phone and does not want to hear anything. As a single father, this is troubling, and that is why I pulled my child. I miss the great directors Shamequa and Jessica. They got to know the parents and the children. I would stay away from this daycare.

She's 8 and currently takes piano lessons with Jacob, who is patient and fun, and pretty talented himself! She has also taken guitar with Daniel and he was a great instructor as well. The thing that sets Music and Rock School apart is that they gear the lessons toward the student, teaching them music that they're interested in along with the basics of reading music. My daughter is so excited to practice and go to lessons, she really enjoys learning music that she can sing along with!
