I've had many pedicures, several in Chilliwack mostly at one particular place but as my granddaughter was in town for her birthday we decided we would go somewhere new. All wanted was a regular pedi, no colour but I do expect a decent scrub, leg and foot massage with sloughing off dead skin and then lotion or oils. I had a terrible experience. I had to turn the water back on and wash the grit on my legs. she did get some kind of moisturizer on one leg but not the other and just put a clear coat over the old clear coat ( i did ask for clear) I was given a disgusted look when I didn't give a tip. sorry, I will not go back. I looked at my granddaughter's nails and wasn't impressed with the quality either. read more

TERRIBLE- DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! The lady rushed and did absolutely nothing right for my pedicure. She was rude and aggressive and continuously tried to sell me on her shitty performance. I picked a colour and when she came over to apply the colour, it was the wrong one. I mentioned so and she got frustrated, told me they didn't have it, told me I was too particular in front of the entire salon and my friends (multiple times I might add) she then became more aggressive and continued to talk out of her ass. I have literally never experienced such a disgusting level of service. Not to mention there was absolutely no covid protocols in place what so ever. When I moved over to get my manicure done, I had to sit in someone else's old manicure set up. The same towel laid on the counter was full of her old nail clippings and powder from her gel application. That cross contaminated into my own shellac and I can still see the powder underneath my shellac (it looks bubbly and uneven) This place was just disgusting and a rip off. How dare a service professional speak to clients that way with absolutely no regard for their hard earned money being spent here. The cherry on top was we were a bridal party coming in and the bride was extremely upset after we left. Her manicure was also terrible. The shellac started cracking within 60 minutes of leaving the place. Save your money or just go elsewhere!! read more

DONT GO THERE unless you are ready to suffer.... BIG TIME!!! went there to get a mani pedi for seniors.... she talked me into shallack... which I don't like, but finally did, asked for square fingers and toes... not so cuticule job.. not so impressive... painfull... pain in fingers and toes.. the worse INGROWING NAILS IN BOTH MY BIG TOES!!! Aoutch!! It's been 9 days and I am still suffering, cannot wear shoes..and torturing myself to fix it.... very disappointing from Tee.. as I had her before and was satisfied... so, all of this beginning with a senior mani pedi ended up costing me 100$ and major pain... and no square nails... anothor glitch..... after using those tools on me, she only cleaned them with a little cloth and put them away in a drawers.... now, I am afraid of infections, or even worse.... this is the 1st time I do review, I am just to upset... read more

Waited 25 mins for a 5 o'clock appointment, was not said a word to. Neither was my friend. Got sat in a dirty chair with no water for 10 or so minutes and at 5:25 got tired of waiting- 5:30-appointments had already showed up! Left and only then did they seem to care lol read more

terrible tried to make online appointment no answer so i phoned and was told no online booking so made appointment on the phone , 1 hour after my appointment was done they confirmed my earlier appointment on line crazy , dirt bathroom ,dirty shelf unit where the nail charts where even a dirt mask on the shelf,, no checking at the door for covid which i will be reporting ,, no taking down names etc no plastic shied at the foot bath ,only on every second one ..water too hot in the pedicure bath made my feet red and i saw others with red feet . hot rocks almost burned my feet . even the water for hand soaking was too hot and dirty .on line it adverted senior discount when i asked they said no discount . tried to talk me into other products which i never used . never going to use this shop and i get my nails done every month read more

EDIT: I am changing my review as the management reached out and offered to redo my nails for free after their mistake. I rebooked for today December 23rd and got a new set done. Although, it was cheaper than my original set, it was a pleasant experience sitting down with Tee again. The only complaint I have is the communication aspect, yet again. The person I spoke with before did not communicate to Tee that my new set was free and she showed me the charge of the service at the end. It was disheartening to stand there, confused and disappointed yet again before Tee simply told me it was fine and dismissed it. The people there are lovely but it gets confusing when no one is on the same page. I'm happy with my new set if not a little upset by the end of the service. Irregardless, Book A Look made it right and did what was expected so I have no complaints. --------- . ----------- I want to first say that my nail tech, Tee, despite her mistake of my services, went beyond her role as a brand new employee and delivered the best quality customer service. However I cannot say the same for the NEW MANAGEMENT. I went in on Saturday, December 2nd at 3:00 PM for my appointment with a senior nail tech, Rhonda (also a previous manager). They did not properly book me and therefore I agreed to sit with Tee. She was very wonderful and stressed about her importance of communication and quality customer service. Unfortunately, my gems on my nails fell off 2 days after my service. However, since I've been to the salon before the change of management, I knew that according to their policy, customer satisfaction is their priority. Obviously the NEW MANAGER does not care. I called her about my dissatisfaction, explaining that I live in Coquitlam and cannot simply come back to get a retouch on my gems anytime soon. She asked me what she expected out of her and then said all she could do is give me 20% off my next service in 3 weeks. I said I was not satisfied with that and she said she would talk to my nail tech about my service and then call me back. She hung up and never called back. I called today again and had the opportunity to speak to Tee and she apologized about her poor quality service and insisted to pay for it out of her own pocket. She explained she was chewed out by her manager and was extremely sorry. I mentioned that her manager should be taking responsibility for her employees and she should not be paying out of her pocket at all. I am extremely upset about the unethical business practices the new manager is running in her business and her employees. I recommend not supporting this business solely on the new management. Disappointing experience I took my 84 yr old mother here after hearing my sisterinlaws experience, she had followed her reg nail tech here. My mother is a very sweet elderly lady, she needs help walking and is hard of hearing, always cheerful to everyone she meets. I took her here today to get a pedicure. When we arrived I really got the feeling that we were just in the way and not one staff member greeted us, one of the nail techs pointed to a chair at the very back of the salon, as I helped my mom back to her chair one of the staff members pointed to a cord on the floor and said watch it, good thing as we would have both tripped on it. Once seated the nail tech pointed to the colour wall and said pick a colour, no hello and my mom said she never looked at her once, rushing through the session without speaking to her other than to tell her pick an colour and then to get out of the chair at the end. My mom has sensitive feet and told the nail tech this, she said the lady never looked at her once and was very rough with her feet and in fact hurt her at one point, my mom said she winched in pain and the nail tech completely igorned her. After seating my mom I left to go to saveon, came back in 25 min, expecting her to still be getting her pedicure and found her sitting in a chair across from the original chair. I was surprised as pedicures usually take atleast 45 min. I asked my mom why she had to move out of the chair and she said the nail tech told her she needed the chair and had to move. There was no one waiting and four other chairs open. I wanted to speak to the manger, but my mom was too shy and embarrassed to say anything , we just paid and left. Even paying the bill, I was not asked how everything was and not even looked at. I realize there is a language barrier here but that does not excuse bad manners or treating customers with care and respect. Its really a shame as the salon is really nice inside and a great location. I will not be recommending this salon to anyone I know and will be looking for a better place for my mom. Ps I got home and read a few reviews and noticed all the negative comments here had no reply from the owners, I really hope that read these and take them to heart, this is a small town and businesses can't afford a bad reputation. It take such little effort to be kind to people and offer good service. I hope this makes a difference. read more

I am updating my experience of December 27, 2018 today...I am not sure why my review is now in the non-recommended category even after watching their info on the automated software program and reviewing all reviews in both the recommended and non-recommended areas. The nails on my big toes were cut so short that it is only today that the pain and sensitivity has finally fully dissipated. The nail bed on both ha been affected and even the pressure of a sock on one caused some pain. When in BC, I wore open back all-weather clogs but with Alberta's winter temperatures, boots need to be worn. It seems that there are capable workers at this salon, but my experience was one that could have perhaps been close to one violating health standards. The photo of salon tech massaging a client's foot during a pedicure on the salon's website is so unlike my 'deluxe pedicure' that I motivated to provide this update. read more

First time there for my scheduled appointment I was ignored by the man at the desk and I left after 20 min. They had only one client in a chair out of 7 chairs. He chased me outside and apologized but my time was too important to come back in and I left. Now 6 months later and all the snow I decided to have a pedi and manicure so I tried again I was treated much better this time by Tee and my nails were done to perfection. My complain is the cost. It was $85 for a mani/pedicure combo. I pay $45 for the same in West Van and Langley. Way too pricey especially if you are getting a gel polish which has to be redone almost every 2 weeks. The place has 7 chairs and only 2 were filled. Maybe if the management want to increase traffic they should lower their prices and people will come. read more
