I was happy to see that there was an eyebrow threading place so close to my work in town so that it would be easy to make a stop once in a while for a shaping. Overall I was disappointed. When I got home and could take a closer look in my mirror, there were many missed hairs around my eyebrows that I had to pluck out myself with a tweezer. I do not expect to have to finish the job after paying someone for a very simple task like that. Additionally I wasn't happy with the overall shape, the eyebrows looked slightly uneven as well as sloppily shaped, I prefer the shape to be sharper and cleaner. Maybe I will go back and give them a second chance, but my first impression was fairly negative. I would rather pay the $10 to someone who will do an adequate job that I'm happy with. read more

I went to Seema to fix a bad haircut I did on myself. Looking in the mirror at home, I was unhappy to see that it wasn't much better than the one I did... I'll have to book an appt. with Honey Salon now. They're the only half decent haircut place in Ferndale/Bellingham. read more

Seema is great! She took the time to ask for my name and held a pleasant conversation while she worked on my brows, showing that she cares about her customers. She worked fast and very efficiently, no cuts and created a great shape for my brows. I'm a guy and I get my eyebrows done because my wife hates it when I get a unibrow. Waxing irritates my skin too much, but threading is great. Seema is very nice, efficient, and always makes my eyebrows have a clean, masculine look - nicely shaped but not overly shaped. As a walk-in I'm in and out in 5 minutes, and under $10 - can't beat that! read more

I've been getting threaded since 2005 in CA, MO, MD, and MI. I like it sooo much better than waxing. I used to get bad irritation and breakouts in the past when i allowed waxing of my brows. I appreciate Seema having a storefront here so close to my home. She does a fine job. I'd like if she added a step: apply witch hazel before & after threading. read more

I have gone here multiple times and every time I enjoy my experience. They do amazing eyebrow threading and lip waxing (I'm sure they do great on other things but those are the only things I've gone for so far). I always get my eyebrows done here and I have gotten so many compliments on them! I keep coming back with new friends because everyone wants their eyebrows to look like mine. I really wanted to like this salon. I called ahead, made an appointment for a haircut which was as basic as it gets: a trim with some layers. About 2 minutes into my haircut, a woman walks in with 2 children, wanting a haircut for her kiddos. Seema assured the customer she would be done soon and this is when I started getting the feeling that her attention was diverted. Soon enough, 2 more customers walked in and were given the same message. I could tell that Seema was now focused on getting me out and the other customers in. She then put a silicone based product on my very thin hair, blow dried it (sort of), handed me a mirror and the results were shocking. I could not believe she was sending me out of her salon with my hair looking that bad. When I got home I washed the product out and could then tell the real damage. My hair is uneven, one side is now longer than the other. The layering is the worst I have ever had. Even my husband could tell, this is how bad it looks. There is nothing more depressing that a bad haircut. read more
