It was also a dream to get to travel there with my close friends and for them to see Italy for the first time! Our trip was curated so thoughtfully by Anthony. The food, the wine, the places we stayed, and the people we met along the way were all wonderful. From wine tasting in Tuscany, to the private tour of the winery itself, to hiking in Elba, to spontaneously going to the Montefalco festival (we were lucky that we happened to be nearby the weekend of the festival!!)... I experienced a whole new Italy I'd never seen before, new culinary styles, new wine varietals and exquisite scenery. BEWARE‼ my experience was horrendous I would Never EVER use…read moreOur Gang Travel....the worst experience ever. 1. My payment was to Our Gang my credit card statement came from GoGo Travel I've never heard nor have ever been to that agency no one from Our Gang advised to beware. I almost did a chargeback because I didn't know who this agency was. i had to call Our Gang to ask after asking I will then made aware this is a company they sometimes use. 2. My payment was made in full before time and Mobay was included however I did NOT receive Mobay because Our Gang failed to secure a spot for me and my family. Our Gang did Not secure a spaces for us until 1 month before leaving and at that time there was no available spaces. We kept being told no worries you will still enjoy your vacay, very dismissive behavior. No one has offered an apology and or have taken responsibility... only deflective behavior. We asked for a refund because Mobay was included from our flyer that we received from our gang at that time. We were then told that the flyer was incorrect, and that our gang paid for the Mobay and now they refused to give our money back. Two people from my party had to indeed pay because they had single occupancy rooms. Our gang travel acknowledge that they have to refund those two parties however, these two parties MUST WAIT for their refund. 3. My party and I have asked for receipts. Several times we have yet to receive a receipt we have received summaries and we all know a summary is not a receipt. 4. I was told that Black people are the problem when it comes to traveling which I found derogatory, insensitive, rude and condescending. myself and my party are very disappointed the female senior member was extremely dismissive and condescending to us all. I truly wish I could list everything that happened to us all. What I will say is a smart person will learn from their mistakes. A wise person will learn from someone else's mistakes. I hope you all will be wise and learn from my mistakes so that you don't have to be disappointed in your travels.
