This store is awesome! It's so much more than just books! Not that a store with just books wouldn't be amazing in itself. There are so many giftable items all over there store! Racks of overstock books at 20% off, up front, as well! The particular book i was serving for was allll the way in the back at the last table, and an employee showed me to it, very nicely! I ended up buying it online and doing a store pick up though, because the book was twelve dollars cheaper online than in store! No big deal, but the pick up was totally ready in about fifteen or twenty minutes! All in all it was a great experience and i will be frequenting this book store going forward! read more

Stopped in and loved it so much more than B&N. Cozier environment, love the large shelving and the fact that they also have secondhand books for a great price! Based one of the two other reviews, I'm guessing this may have previously been a Borders. In any case, other than the name on the front of the store, I can assure you not much has changed or is different from Borders. Expect to pay full list price for most books, or join the rest of America and go to Amazon.com and get them for about 50% off. Half the store isn't even books. It's crap. The few upshots are that it's quiet, has a coffee store inside (Joe Muggs), as do all major bookstores, and there is a very small used book section out front for prices in the $5 range. And there's plenty of parking because this store is all the way at the back of the mall. read more

The cafe is one of my favorite places to read at in Fredericksburg. The coffee us great and the baristas are always so nice and helpful.

The have a lot of good books here. I love coming here to buy books. It's a very nice place l also like to come here because it's not that far from the movie theater, and the bowling alley. read more

Many of the people are a nice enough to help you find anything you want. The store is rather clean but they have too much of everything else cluttering the store rather then just books. The only problem I had with this place was when I called asking about a book. I asked if they had any computer books and the lady on the phone pretty much replied with "yeah, we do dumb@55." In all honesty its one of the few sections that isn't put near the front of the store, and as said before, everything else is cluttering up the place so some sections go unnoticed the first time in the store, or even on repeat visit. Also many places in the are either don't have a computer section or just shove it in with their technology section so I had to ask. Also compared to Barns and Noble, or even the former Borders, things aren't always clearly layed out correctly or if they do have a section on computers is freaking HUGE. Things are lazily organized like I'd find tons of art books in the non-fiction section, as just one example. read more

I like that they have a lot of comics and graphic novels, even though the section looks a little windblown at times. The store is relatively quiet most days of the week, and has good discounts for members. They have a few too many displays cluttering up the place though, so walking space in the store is kind of tight. They could also stand to get rid of the junk in the back of the store and use the space more effectively. It's a pretty big store and I'd say at least a quarter of it is full of inventory no one will ever want. But that's also a modern retail problem rather than something that only this store does.
