I love coming to this store. It's clean, organized and the staff is always friendly, professional and helpful. Luis helped us out today finding a book we couldn't seem to find, he was a great help. They have books, mangas, funkos, journals, reading accessories (pens, book markers, reading lights, etc), they also have coffee mugs, Disney loungefly backpacks and many more cute things. The store has a variety of items for all ages and all interests. There is also a coffee shop inside the store. Definitely one of my favorite places to visit.

It's been a long time since I've been in this location but we had time to kill and a bookstore can be dangerous for all of us. Personally I only got one item but I found so many really good things. We always start out front where they have their clearance racks and there were a lot of items worth inspecting on this occasion. Once inside if you're not there for a specific item you really can't help but wander through the entire store to see all the things that they have available in addition to books. I can always find the books I'm looking for and I was thrilled to see a section near the front that said banned books. I was surprised by some of the ones in that section. I also wanted to buy every one of them. They have a wonderful selection of items for younger children as well as teens. They have a good selection of gaming items and I always love the assorted pop culture merchandise that they have available. I found some really cool backpacks and one entire section of just Godzilla items. Obviously if you're looking for a good deal on books this can be a great store to shop in but don't forget all the other wonderful things they have. Including if you are a coffee fan, Joe Muggs.

Popped in looking for new release it was so new unfortunately they didn't have it. Since that time I've found & have read it. There's not many times certain books draw my attention to seek out upon arrival.

Came in to checkout their selection of cooking books and I wasn't disappointed. Cashier was nice and professional. Clean store.

Iced Coffee

My last visit to Atlantic Sounds was back in 1990 when I was attending school in Daytona Beach, so…read morereturning 36 years later absolutely blew my mind. I could not believe how much the store has expanded over the years, including an annex two doors down that houses thousands of CDs. The amount of inventory here is almost overwhelming in the best possible way. As a music collector, it honestly felt like I had died and gone to heaven. No matter what genre you enjoy, there is an incredible amount to explore. I was especially excited to find a large selection of leftover Record Store Day titles, including two rare releases that I was thrilled to add to my collection. I also came across many original pressings of 1980s LPs and 12" singles, along with a huge number of CDs in the annex, including several out-of-print titles that are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Everywhere I looked, there were hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Atlantic Sounds is the kind of record store where you could easily spend an entire day -- or several days -- browsing and still not see everything they have to offer. I am so glad to see how much they have grown and expanded since my last visit. It remains an absolute paradise for music lovers and collectors.

Great record store experience. Another section 2 doors down. Lots and lots of records, CDs, tapes,…read moreposters, and more. A lot of fun if you're into music.

Great selection of books, dvds, mixed media, organized really well. They have so much product,…read moretheir shelves flow into stacks of books on the floor. They put care into their displays and what figurines or other trinkets are placed with which books. Their prices aren't as cheap as books when you thrift, but the effort that goes into curating and organizing a collection this big - almost makes it worth the retail prices on some of these books. I also noticed they had some Disney tsum tsum? Figurines that must be slight after and collectible because the retail was 5.95 and the written price for the store was $10.

Wow, this store has a LOT of books, almost too many. There are so many that they have overflowed to…read morethe floor in some areas taking up part of the walkway. They also have a lot of CDs, VCR tapes, magazines, and many more items I was unable to explore on this visit. We were on our way to a concert and I had about 30 minutes to look for a few music books, which I found with the staff's help. I have to say that the staff were great and knew exactly where they kept the music books, good job! It's good to know this store has a variety of music books to choose from and for the most part they are organized well, except the ones on the floor. You just have to dig a little. I chose two Faber level III piano books and a Bastien level III piano technique book. The Bastien book was only $2 but it has a lot of notes from previous students. The two Faber books were $6 each and virtually untouched, excellent! Some of the books are on the pricey side, especially some of these old music books, they are asking $20 when the covers are missing and music score is illegible. I just don't see myself spending that much when I can put that $20 towards a brand new book series or Henle Album of exceptional quality. Regardless, I want to support local, and have been very happy with my purchase. I will return again to see what I missed on my previous visit. If you love book stores, this is a good one and definitely worth the stop.
