Pablo was the primary staffer on this day, and he could not have been a better host. Full of bookstore information, humor, guidance about Greeley, and a pleasant personality. There are all sorts of sitting and browsing options, and I love their back room of those interesting banned books that some have decided to make their focus. It is filled with humor and sarcasm. The decor is simple but terrific, and the best element of it is the hundreds of books surrounding girders located within the central area of the store, a brilliant decorative move that lures you into the store and is such a spot-on feature.

Look for the Roasty's sign on 8th and head a couple of doors north and you will find the coolest bookstore! It is well organized and very well stocked. Books are sorted by genre and they have everything from DIY to Scifi. When I was there a half a dozen patrons were browsing the shelves and conversing like friends. There are chairs and a booth to sit if you want to try out your next read before buying. Used Books were priced by color code at $3, $6, $9, with discount available if you purchased three books within the price point. In the back of the shop was a nice kid's section where books were all only $1. There was a cute area for kids to sit and read as well.

I loveee The Book Stop. It is FULL of so many different kinds of books. This one has old books, newer books, a large kids section, reference, cooking, every genre you could want. And it's walking distance from my house. I probably wouldn't sell books there anymore because it's not really worth it, like CENTS for a brand new book and you don't get more for store credit or at least they didn't offer when I was there last. She snapped and claimed we were "not purchasing customers"--which was a blatant lie, considering we had already bought one book and were standing there trying to hand them money for a second one. ​To make matters worse, Angelica's terrible attitude was entirely fueled by petty retaliation. She became angry and refused to assist us simply because I declined their insultingly low offer for my trade-in books. Angelica is completely unsuited for a management role, and the staff's exclusionary, rude behavior is unacceptable. Take your business elsewhere to a store that actually values its customers.
