The older lady's are always super rude and intimidating. The young kids are always great! The older gals will stand in the back and talk then act like the customer is an inconvenience to their gossip session. When we go get propane a specific lady is ALWAYS super rude about it again making it seem like a huge inconvenience to her. They handle situations terribly, making them worse than they are. This place deserves ten stars ! I walked in and shyly asked if there was a sink where I could rinse out my thermos. The woman, Sharon, cocked her head and said "yeah" Then she washed both of them for me. Spotless. Even the spouts. "We love our freedom and we love our space." (Was her reply when I suggested that this might be just the sort of thing that made living here appealing.) I didn't even know we were still in Colorado. This state has three distinct areas: mountains, generic drab urban area, and then here... a place where nobody feels weak and everyone tries to be kind. Wow. Yeah this is more than a gas station and convenience store. I saw a worn sign that said family owned since 1949... this is the best of small town USA. stopped here and drove a long way the other direction on the road we exited, then came back here. Glad we did! the servers were super friendly and the food was great. my wife had eggs and bacon, hash browns, rye toast. excellent. I had a chicken fried steak that covered the plate! I couldn't finish it. eggs and hash browns and awesome sourdough toast. the food was very good. a nice surprise and far above a lot of "truck stop" food. drive a little longer before exiting and hit this spot. read more

Just off the Wiggins exit from Interstate 76 lies a hidden gem of a gas station. Five stars for a gas station. That's right, you read that correctly. It's more than a fuel stop, though. It's freshly cooked, hot food from an actual kitchen. I've had their sausage breakfast burritos on several occasions. Yummy! I overheard a customer there yesterday, He'd called in an order for food. I saw another couple exiting with takeout containers. I've even caught myself thinking, wow, this is the best smelling gas station I've ever been to. This gas station is great!!! There is a liquor store attached, several conveniently placed pumps, and the food is great!!! After a long day on the water my friend and I stopped here to get snacks. When we saw the deli menu, we decided to get sub sandwiches. Mine had turkey and almost all the veggies they offered (pretty much like Subway, but NOT sitting out and half rotten). The veggies were nice and fresh, cold and crisp. The bread was soft and fresh. The turkey was thicker cut deli meat. It was a great sub!!! My friend had a turkey and bacon sub, she said the bacon on it was hot and fresh! The people running the station were also very friendly! The station is extremely busy so they were out (or at least not stocked on the shelves) of many kinds of chips which left mostly flamin hot type chips on the shelves, but I really didn't even need them after seeing how great the sub was! Because it's pretty busy, there were flies buzzing about the inside, but that can't be helped on hot days where the doors are always opening closing. We decided to eat in the car, not at the provided tables inside. All in all, I'm pretty impressed, still giving them 5 stars based the amazing Stub's Subs! Ok it's a truck stop/gas station but OMG the food it amazing! If you want quick and delicious fried food this is a must to visit when you are along 76. We had the corn dogs and potato wedges and they were amazing. We also were told to next time to order the jalapeño cheddar tater tots which we will do next time. I also want to try the cheese curds and popcorn chicken. Mmm so good! The bathrooms are also clean and it's a good place to get good greasy food when you are in the hood bc there isn't much around. read more

This gas station is clean and nice but the worst customer service I've seen. They say the accept Apple Pay but their machines don't work. The workers act like high school student talking bad about customers. The workers are rude and act above everyone. When they mess up they are rude and blame the customer. I would not recommend this gas station to anyone. read more

I would give a higher score of a 4/5 for the updates that have been done to the convenience store and the food but am only giving a 2 because I was extremely disappointed in the service today, Sunday, July 26, 2020. The young kids working today were using the f-word & hollering inappropriately from the kitchen. When I stated something to the young lady that was my cashier all I got was attitude & no apology....probably because she was one of the ones who was cursing. There were families with small children in the station & a person could hear the f-word being used by the staff while back by the soda machine. Very disappointed! Hopefully management addresses this issue because it is a very nice place to go. read more
