Great place to relax. Lots of amazing family memories. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It's fine for a night or if you're working nearby. It's newish on the western end. The other end is so so. They have a nice lake. The road noise is continuous however you're right next to I10 so it's convenient. An employee drove ahead of us to our site and because our power cord is in the rear of our trailer they let us use the box on the next site so we could keep the truck hitched. Note- The roads leading in and out under I10 seem reversed to me so be careful. read more

We loved our overnight stay here and wished we would have stayed longer on our cross country move. The amenities were by far the nicest we have stayed in. The showers had two shower heads, one that was detachable so it made it super easy to shower our little ones. They have a pool area which was very clean and so nice and updated! There was a fire pit there by the pool as well. And it was also attached to a pavilion with amazingly cute and functional tables and chairs and a clean grill. They also had bikes that kids could grab and ride around. I can not rave enough about this place. If we are ever back in the area we will for sure stay here again. And we will be telling all of our military friends to stop by also on their cross country treks. read more

This is where we prefer to stay when we come into town and see the grandchildren. you couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Just heard they sold out to cooperate. Although the highway is quite near, the view and scenery here is serene. This place is clean, has level concrete pads, a dog park, dog wash, bikes, grilling area and pool! This place used a Bait and Switch technique. I made reservations there for two parking sites for two separate nights, once on the outbound trip and another on the way home again. (Two RV's convoying) I reserved "lake Side back In" sites each time. We were all looking forward to spending the evening fishing after driving all day. Instead of a relaxing evening by the lake, we listened to screaming kids. We were directed to park at Poolside. When I asked about it, I was told "Oh, that's the way the web site works". In order to go fishing, I would have had to walk at least a half mile around a mosquito infested weed filled drainage ditch. Two weeks after I made the reservations, I called each and every park to verify the reservations, site number and location, etc. When I spoke to the person at Boomtown, I was told "all is correct, lake side back in". After we all got home again, I sent them an email explaining how unhappy I was and why. They didn't even respond. I have also filed a complaint with the Texas State Attorney's Office and the Better Business Bureau. RV'r's beware! They'll reserve a lake side space for you but when you arrive after a long day driving, they'll stick you next to screaming kids in a pool next to a mosquito infested drainage ditch. read more

This has to be the noisiest RV park I have ever stayed in, Interstate 10 with self draining concrete is just a few hundred feet away and 75 mph speed limit the traffic never stops. Unbearable read more

It was ok for one night, best part, shuttle takes you up to restaurant in casino! Our young grandson loved his food; he loved that granny and pops let him have breakfast for dinner!! We liked the food as well. Best part was he didn't know what the jukebox at the table was so he picked a song (with a tad bit of help from me!) and he was laughing and loving his breakfast/dinner time!! RV Review: We stayed for one night here. We were given instructions via text days before, which was appreciated. When we got there, we were greeted at the gate by a friendly gentleman who showed us to our spot. We selected a pull through RV spot which was way at the end, so I'm glad they took the time to show us where it was. Cons: trash was so far away from where we were, I wish there was something closer. You are right off the I-10, it is extremely noisy. If you use AC, you may be able to eliminate some of the noise - but definitely expect it to be loud. Pros: very kind and helpful staff read more

Y'all!! I found this yurt last minute. Surprisingly it was available for next day use and overnight. I don't know how it was available due to the AMAZING view it offered. I was most excited that it is essentially a tent, that has AC!! But, after getting here, the location has so much to offer. They have a huge beautiful CLEAR watered pond that features a giant water trampoline and my favorite the dredging machine that is antique, and awesomely still pulls sand from the bottom. Kayaks, paddle boats, a swimming pool with jacuzzi, a game room(with a pool table), laundry facilities, and multiple bathrooms in which every single one of them include a shower. Very nice and clean bathrooms and facilities at that. Not going to lie, I am no camper, so I was a little bit worried about sleeping in a "tent" but to my surprise it was amazing. The inside is set up so cozy, with a fan right above you to blow the ac around, a coffee pot with all the necessities, BBQ pit and fire pit right outside and a picnic table for you to enjoy the views. I'll just post some pictures and let you determine the several other good points I can pin point here. Thanks Kristi for an amazing stay, and great communication. If I could give this place a 0 no star I would. The absolute worst disgusting swamp cat infested rv park ever . I love cats but this place is infested w feral cats and kittens being born. I was told when making reservations that dogs and cats are welcome just keep them on a leash. We were harassed by other long term rv ppl. We were cussed at and intimidated.... We ran out of places to walk our dogs. When we addressed the manager she said tough luck don't walk them near those areas she then kicked a hornets nest with other campers she knew and they started harassing us. We should've called law enforcement!!! We just got out of there. It's also wet and swampy (stinks) The old lady who runs it is a little off. Substance? We don't know but there's a tribe of people who will harass you if asked to and they did. There is cat and dog feces everywhere. No one is made to clean up after their own animals and the wild male cats spray EVERYTHING. It stunk so bad . This is the property manager who was so mean and harassed to leave. read more

Awesome campground with nice workers, very nice manager named Patricia, nice laundry room area, and very great fishing/swimming/boating area. Have banquet rooms and cabins to rent! The only downside is that the wi-fi hot spot only provides Internet to the office, banquet rooms, and the laundry room. They are supposed to be expanding internet coverage in a month or so. read more

Have been traveling on a regular basis, and Boomtown is by far the absolute worst place we ever stayed. Right next to I 10 ,horrible traffic noise ,walked back through park and there were quite a few vacant spots not next to interstate. read more

Such A great place. I was in the area right after hurricane Harvey, I can tell you this place was completely underwater! Such an inspiration to see a business rebuild and improve after that! I enjoyed my stay in the park, when I arrived the front desk advised me to be careful going in with my rig, as they had a bad asphalt company lay the road a couple months ago. The Laundry Room has nice new washers and dryers in it. All in all This is a great place to stay. I have been coming off and on for many years and will continue to do so. Yes they are by the interstate, You know that the highway is there, If that bothers you stay on I-10. read more

This place is literally on the side of the highway. You hear all the traffic all night long. The lots don't have any shade. The pavement is new and looks like they are trying to expand and make it better. The dog "park" is basically a big patch of grass without a fence. Sign states to pick up your dogs poop but the other people I saw there were not picking it up. Looks like most of the lots are permanent residents who all seem to have the water front spots. The woman on the phone was very pleasant and patient and when we checked in her (I believe husband) was very nice and helped us find our lot. A noise barrier would make this place so much better. Centrally located so finding a place to eat was easy. read more

This is one of the top RV Resorts my family has stayed in. We travel all over the states for work. When we first got here we were a bit unsure because we had a spot by the road. We requested to be moved away from the road and they moved us as soon as a spot came available. Once we moved we have really started to enjoy our stay. We have talked to a few of the staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and you can tell it's family owned. All issues that we may have was and has been solved promptly. We have been here for little over two months. In this time they have taken down old buildings, made concrete pads lake side, in the process of making more concrete pads farther away from the road, and are always keeping the grounds clean and picked up. The laundry room is excellent!! Everything is brand new. Washers and dryers are big and you can actually wash a king size blanket. Truly almost everything is new including their cabins. Also if you like to fish... this lake is the place. read more

Uncaring, lying, useless staff at this park. The grounds, laundry machines, & lots are not maintained. The grass will get to your knees. Loud music all hours of the night. Domestic violence fights numerous times. Mgmt really needs to get a handle on their business. They are sitting on a gold mine. read more

If you are driving through for a quick stop, this place is fine. For anything else, they will tell you what one wants to hear to get one settled and during crucial times, they are ridiculous with their rules. The constant emails with rules which may or may not apply to a person are offensive because the parks owner has already allowed in clientele which makes the place look trashy, is trashy and will continue to be so because of the location. I get they want to weed out the undesirables but doing it at the height of a pandemic is pathetic and disgusting. However, best of luck to the owners in their attempt to rebuild. But please, for people who are moving in with large trailers and are placed on the unfinished pathetic lots, make it clear about cable hookups and what your needs are because they will tell a person just what they want to hear in order to get them there. Like I said before, best of luck to them...they are going to need it. read more

Honestly we stayed 3 months the whole 3 months we was there we got notes put on our door or messages about our yard being dirty saying we need to clean up sticks and leafs that we have to keep a clean camper then we went for hours without lights when people not even 5 mins from us had lights the whole beamount has lights we get complaints over the stupidest stuff then rent goes up so much like one month your rent bill is this the next its higher when you're at work all day nobody's home how does your lights go up it's ridiculous then they say oh you can't have that in your yard but if you go down to the other side of the park someone else has the same thing you're not allowed to have in your yard I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!!!! the bathrooms stay nasty and so does the game room there's a lady in the office who's rude to kids and sometimes has an ugly attitude with you ETC.. the list goes on but take your chances if you wish but I wont be back there renting again sorry not sorry!! read more

The epitome of why you need a zero star option. Here for work and there is unfortunately very slim options for descent campgrounds in this area. This campground has great potential but it seems as though the owners have been money hungry and do not want to put money back into the park. The 750 a month spots are very overpriced considering you have to drive through gigantic potholes to get to the back...that is absolutely ridiculous and should not be allowed to get that bad! The laundry room is a joke considering the size and amount of campers currently in here unless 6 washers minus the 1 broken one is perfectly fine for 100s of people in here. For 750 a month they should have built an additional laundry facility behind the gate area. Also, they send out an insane amount of emails daily in which most are irrelevant to you personally or redundant to the packet of information you receive in the beginning. You have cameras and rules, if a tenant isn't abiding tend to them privately instead of sending email after email. I wish I could recommend people to somewhere else but while in the Beaumont area there is slim options. read more

Nice people, easy off and on I 10. Very pretty lake. Now the negative, so close to the interstate the noise is deafening. I guess if you were swimming or playing on the lake all day you might be too tired to notice but for an overnight stop, wow. We had to turn a radio on to drown the traffic out. read more
