Avoid this business - paid hundreds to have a phone repaired and less than 6 months later it was no longer charging. Took it to the Apple Store and they said it was repaired with cheap parts and the battery was not the original. The kicker is Boone cellular said they did not change the battery - so it is a mystery as to what happened to the original Apple battery in the phone. Also they would not honor the lifetime parts warranty that is listed on their website. read more

I will never go there again, I took my iPad there with a broken screen. they the screen but when I got it home it wouldn't charge. I tried four different chargers with no charge. I took it back and told him It wouldn't charge , he said it was my problem and that he didn't touch the charging system. I took it to apple juice at new market. they called me in a couple hours and said it was fixed. they told me whoever replaced my screen had not put the four screws back in that holds the charging port in. that cost me another 85 dollars. make sure you deal with people that stand behind their work. read more

Went here to fix my broken LCD screen on iPhone XR. The LCD had broken before and needed repaired and that cost around $110. I came here and it was around $140 but obviously what can you do when you're in college, in a bind. ‍ They matched the price of the other place in town so that's nice. Sent an email to the Boone Cellular team on Easter evening asking for a quote to fix my cracked screen. They responded within the HOUR! I have never experienced stay business that will respond to my email within an hour let alone on the night of state holiday. When I visited them in the store, the staff was very fast and friendly to work with. They told me it would take around one hour to fix my screen. When I first got my phone back, I was slightly concerned because the screen quality did not look as good and the touch sensitivity wasn't working well. But after bringing the phone in and calmly talking to the staff about it, they let me know that it was under warranty for defects and said they just need one more hour to fix it. After I got back, the staff let me know that they extensively tested the screen for defects, and I could see that they did a typing test in my notes which was very thorough and very extensive! These guys did not miss anything with testing for quality!! Five stars to Boone cellular for being the friendliest, fastest, and most dedicated repair shop in town!!!! read more

Yikes!! What a bad experience! The woman who manages the business is great, but the older fellow is VERY aggressive and is quick, quick, quick to anger and rage. Stay away from this guy!! Will never return to this business, but it's necessary to warn others. The man has a true problem with rage and is physically violent. This place is really great! I broke my Iphone screen and foolishly thought I could fix it myself with the power of youtube and buying parts off of the internets. After watching the first minute of the DIY repair video, and realizing that I will likely end up just breaking my phone even more, I came to my senses and found this place. I am not from the area, we come to Boone often for vacations and long weekends! I drove off with my cell phone on the top of my car like an idiot. Someone found it and turned it in to a rental office, they recommended Boone Cellular. I've never had to use them, but knew exactly where to go. The minute my son and I walked in they got to work. We went to run errands and and were back within an hour and they were finished. They fixed my screen (approx 119.00 usd) and my front facing camera on my iPhone 8 (approx 75.00 usd). Extremely knowledgeable, honest, and diligent! I would recommend them over a national cell service for repair...Support your local businesses as much as you can!!! I needed to find a local cellular store when the tip of my daughter's iPhone charger became stuck in her iPhone 8+. I read the reviews for Boone Cellular before deciding that I would contact Boone Cellular first. They reassured me that the issue we had could usually be fixed in one of two ways and to bring it in for them to have a look. I also asked about their Covid precautions since we are still in the middle of a pandemic. I liked what they told me on the phone regarding mandatory masks, their store cleanliness and the fact that they would sanitize the phone after fixing it. I went on a Saturday afternoon (yesterday) and as soon as I walked in I knew I was in the best place. This is the cleanest looking cellular store I have ever been in. The employee/technician greeted me from behind plexiglass (and I was happy to see he was wearing a mask too). I told him the problem and he said he would go take a look then let me know what they would be doing to fix it. He came back out no more than 5 minutes later and told me it was fixed! I was told on the phone that it might take an hour so I was so pleased that it was nowhere near that time! They definitely under-promised and over-delivered! The service and price could not be beat. I highly recommend this store. If ever I need an iPhone accessory (they sell all kinds!) or if I have any iPhone technical issues in the future, I would not hesitate to return. Dropped my iPhone and totally cracked the screen. Took it in to have it repaired, thinking that I would be without it for at least a day. Dropped it off at 1015, picked it up and back out the door by 1130. I came in thinking it would be more than a day to fix my screen, but they repaired it in under an hour for a reasonable price!!
