Wow - they really do it right here. It's been going on for years and it's a well oiled machine. Even though there were hundreds and hundreds of adults and kids coming in, everything went smoothly, from parking, through security and payment ($20 for adults, $10 for kids). The little horse ride was $5 more. The pig races were fun to watch. The food and coffee lines were long, but moved. It's worth the visit once a year. read more

Good place to get plenty of pictures! I do know this is more children centered but it would be nice if there were also adult activities. The price for admission is $15 which isn't too bad. There are plenty of food and drink vendors throughout the event to choose from. They also have a farmers market with plenty of pumpkins. The hayride was just about everyone's favorite thing! I went to the pumpkin patch last weekend and had a blast. We might have lucked out by it being the first weekend and the forecast calling for rain, but we didn't have to wait for anything or fight any crowds. We had some family in town and wanted to get the 1 year old out there for photos. I thought it was just gonna be some pumpkins in a field with vendors to take more money from you, but it was so much more. Don't get me wrong, it was that, but they really curated the pumkin fields for families to get great photos. And there were tons of vendors selling everything from tacos and sandwiches to sweets and lemonade. On top of all that, there was so much to do! We did the hay ride which was way more exciting than I thought and the kids loved it... not scary either. Plus we did the pig races, petting zoo, pony rides (extra $5), rubber duck races, and saw the circus performers which was amazing. The staff and vendors were all friendly too. This whole order was definitely worth the $15 entry fee we paid to get in. read more

Our son had a great time at the Boone Hall Pumpkin patch. Super cute setup with a kid friendly hay ride, games, bounce houses and a large pumpkin patch area to find the perfect one. The admission fee might have been a little steep but overall the value of merchandise and pumpkins was inexpensive so you make up the cost in other areas. We will definitely be back next year. read more

Yikes. Super disappointed. Granted I don't have kids but I've been to plenty of these events and been happy and had fun. The "pumpkin patch" is literally a fenced in patch of grass with pumpkins. It's in the front and you can go without getting a ticket. It's pathetically small. The hayride does go through different decorated areas. It's fine. Would be better with actual People walking around and not just pumpkins stuffed into clothes or pipes cut to look like snakes. The food trucks don't even go with the theme. Bundt cakes and Mexican food? We all wanted Carmel apples, apple cider, donuts, s'mores. The corn maze is good but if you start and keep turning right your at the beginning again easily. The start and finish are the same spots. The petting zoo has smashed tons of animals in to WAYYYY too small areas. There was 10 goats in a five foot square pen. Horrible. I was very excited but this was a huge disappointment. read more

Our main reason in going was to get pics with the kiddos in the pumpkin patch and make this a bit of a tradition. I probably would have given it 4 stars but I was just disappointed in how rude the workers we encountered were. Our kids are just under 2 and a 2 month old. For our older one, the petting zoo and the hayride were here favorites, most of the other things were for bigger kids. There was a big blow up slide, my hubs went up and then down with her (there were no signs stating otherwise) when a Boone Hall person came walking over and said, "not okay dad!" There were no signs saying otherwise and it is not like the giant blow up slide couldn't handle adults...but there could have been much more polite ways to say they didn't want adults (helping their kids) on this. Last year you could go into a little area with some pumpkins and decorations and still take pictures, (which made more sense last year since we only had an 8 month old) and we still bought pumpkins. It's unfortunate that you have to pay $12 a person (unless they're under 2) just to get in to that part too... If I only had a really little one it would be frustrating to pay $12 per adult just to pick out a pumpkin and take a few pictures. read more

We were thoroughly disappointed in the pumpkin patch. The corn maze was overly simple. It was large enough to have been shaped well and just wasn't. Also, I can't verify this, but it did not seem to be even close to 8 acres. We were looking forward to the pumpkin sling shot but we're sad to see it was just a single painted bullseye. I really love the pumpkin patch at Boone Hall. Although I never buy my pumpkins there because buying pumpkins at a patch is expensive, I think the price together is fair. The best part of the whole pumpkin patch is the hayride! They really put some thought into it and change it up every year. They always have such a variety of pumpkin sizes, and they also had a sunflower field during this time! They have animals that you can pet and feed as well as toys and jump castles for all the kids. We had a lot of fun with our almost 2year old this morning. It was busy, even early in the morning, but lines weren't bad for any of the activities. We went on the tractor ride twice for our little one who is currently tractor obsessed. He didn't get to sit by the tractor on the first go around (but we had fun looking at all the decorated areas) so while waiting in line the second time we were bummed out when we overheard one of the workers saying they were going to stop running the little trailer and get everyone on the big ones, because then he wouldn't get close to the tractor again. We asked if we had heard correctly and met Ryan, who was running that area, he told us yea but if it would make for a better ride for our little guy he'd run the little trailer one more round for us. Really enjoyed my visit to Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch this fall. The staff was extremely friendly and polite, and there were a ton of food vendors as well as additional-cost attractions like Pony Rides. This is obviously geared towards kids, so going into the Festival area, and paying the $12 is only worth it if going with children. I believe the Pumpkin Patch area is free to enter (just pay for the pumpkin). We visited with my nearly 2year old niece - who received free admission. She really enjoyed King of Pops, the Petting Zoo and LOVED the fun hay ride. We loved it too! So much attention to detail, and a really long ride! Excited to come back next year when she can enjoy some of the "big kid" attractions like the slide and bounce platforms. read more

Do not waste your time here. Came with my family and our very sweet family pup and the woman running the stand was unbelievably rude and stuck-up. We were so excited to come to the Pumpkin Patch here. She told us in the most disrespectful way that our pup was not allowed to the outdoor pumpkin patch? Which makes literally no sense as it is. Pumpkin selection was weak anyway, and all of the plants they were selling were wilting and dying anyways. We left without purchasing anything because we were so upset by the way we were treated. Drove 45 minutes here and left. So upsetting. read more

Picking our Christmas tree. Alan is an All Star!! There's such a selection of trees and they all look great. We finally settled on a 10 footer and they had it moved out squished and mounted on top of our car in less than 5 minutes. It was a great experience. We picked up some poblano peppers and a couple of poinsettias for the front porch too. I love this place. read more

I went on a rainy day, yet everything, to include the corn maze, hay ride, and petting zoo, was open! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The entrance fee was $12, and they sold pumpkins for $0.69 a pound (you don't need to pay the entrance fee if you're just buying a pumpkin). They accepted credit cards at both the entrance station and the pumpkin buying station. I truly enjoyed my morning there! read more

Had the idea of bringing my puppy Pomeranian that weights 1.2 pounds and never makes a sound to take family pictures with him at there pumkin patch. I was greeted with a man at the gate who said that they can't allow dogs in because they are farm. I said he barley weighs 2 pounds and he said he couldn't let us in bc of him in a extremely rude way that left me in a awful mood bc he was so rude about the entire situation and when as I was walking way I was speaking to my family and he yelled at us and said what was that you just said which put me in more of a bad mood.
