Oops I did it again!…read more I love antique clocks (and antique/ vintage items in general) even though I dont have anywhere to put them all out in my house, but yesterday, I picked up this beautiful antique mahogany clock. I believe that it may be a Junghans German shelf clock. (Possibly a "Biedermeier style"?) clock with a dark reddish mahogany case and a beveled glass door. It has a wonderful deep toned strike on the hour and half hour. I found this gem at Second & Main and it's sister store Apparitions Vintage Village which is owned by an old high school friend Robin Sowers. This store has a little bit of everything from classis records, vintage items, and locally crafted items as well! Be sure and check them out!

Tim walked me through his store and showed me everything he offered. Even going through each item to tell me what the initial use was and other uses that customers have come up for them. You can see how much he loves what he does and the passion he shows for why he does it. I ended up buying a small glass canning jar with a wooden lid that he made. It elevates a simple thing into something quite impressive. His wares are also sold in a couple of other stores in the area. Very personable and professional.

Owner was very helpful & answered all of my questions. Decor is very chic & modern. I loved the scents & beautiful candle jars! I purchased the 11oz Mahogany Teakwood for our bedroom. Scent was perfect for a couple, not to overly feminine or masculine. Spent over $30, but I love the sturdy glass honeycomb jar & it's reusable. Looking forward to doing the create-your-own candle workshop with my colleague group once it's up & running.
