Karen was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful--exactly the kind of owner you hope to meet when antiquing. Her passion for what she does truly shows. The selection is outstanding and thoughtfully curated, with a wide range of pieces including cast iron, glassware, primitives, tools, furniture, and so much more. Every section felt intentional, and it was easy to spend time browsing without feeling overwhelmed. There's something here for both serious collectors and casual antique lovers alike. What really stood out to us was the pricing. Everything was very fair and well within a reasonable range, which is refreshing to see in a shop with such quality and variety. I told them don't touch anything and if they did it was just a toy. The older man who works there from the very beginning started watching us and then followed us through the entire store. I thought maybe it's just weird coincidence but every turn I made he was right behind us watching us. I was so uncomfortable I told my son I felt like I couldn't even look at anything and that we were going to leave. We was there maybe 20 minutes because I walked so fast and felt so uncomfortable and unwanted there because I had my children with me.

Oops I did it again!…read more I love antique clocks (and antique/ vintage items in general) even though I dont have anywhere to put them all out in my house, but yesterday, I picked up this beautiful antique mahogany clock. I believe that it may be a Junghans German shelf clock. (Possibly a "Biedermeier style"?) clock with a dark reddish mahogany case and a beveled glass door. It has a wonderful deep toned strike on the hour and half hour. I found this gem at Second & Main and it's sister store Apparitions Vintage Village which is owned by an old high school friend Robin Sowers. This store has a little bit of everything from classis records, vintage items, and locally crafted items as well! Be sure and check them out!

Some things were unexpected - skateboards, brooms, cutting boards and blankets.
