Bought a package of chicken legs three days before the sell by date. Next day opened it to cook it and it smelled bad. I took it back to the store and they refused to EXCHANGE it. The person said it didn't smell bad to her (she is expert because she works with chicken every day) and could not help me. I would have to come back and discuss it with the meat guy when he is in. This is a $2.19 package of chicken legs. What business walks a customer dissatisfied with their purchase over $2.19? So evidently you must be aware that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. It's the neighborhood grocery where everyone knows you, except me. They have a butcher, a deli girl, some veggies, and about 10 aisles with just about everything on them. They're now called Sav-U-Mor IGA. You have to think in a town like this is the name a marketing scheme or is it a hick running the place that is illiterate..ponders. These non spellers will save you money though from the others in the area..Campbells soup only .69 cents !! There is no need to buy the packages of oodles and noodles from the asians anymore where all you do is add water and watch that patty break apart. Went to pay vectren bill, computer is always down, the older lady in there laughs in my face says its not her problem! Very poor customer service with the boonville IGA! When i ask her to talk to the manager/ owner she says hes busy so she dont get chewed out lol! Dont recommend to anyone just pay vectren online its the same price they charge and you dont have to waist gas, time, or put up with very rude employees that hate there life and there job! read more

I am one of those people who uses coupons for just about everything, today I went into the store to hit up one of the "10 for 10.00" sales. since the store doubles coupons up to .50 cents, I planned to use my coupons to get them for free (which should be easy), I was told that because my coupon states "one coupon per purchase" that I would not be allowed to use them to get the items for free. I believe that someone should inform them that "one coupon per purchase" does not mean one coupon per transaction, it means 1 coupon per item being purchased..pretty self explanitory. I'm not really thrilled about this time wasted and seriously not happy about the fact that I, being the customer (and knowing what I'm talking about) was turned away without being able to speak to a manager who knew what they were talking about. read more
