My dog had a traumatic experience with a previous groomer and has been getting groomed at home by me and my husband for the past year. I read all the great reviews about Boops N Bubbles and thought we were ready for him to see a professional groomer again. My dog didn't think so. However, Laurie who drove out to Livermore to groom him was an absolute angel. I know that if my dog hadn't been so fearful, he would've had a great time with her. Although we weren't able to conduct his groom, Laurie didn't leave us empty handed. She gave us invaluable advice for grooming our dog at home to achieve the cut we're looking for. She also recommended her dog's behavioral specialist for us to look into. I can't thank her enough. Amy helped schedule our appointment last minute and was caring through the whole process since I was nervous for my pup to see a groomer again. You can tell both Laurie and Amy love what they do, as they were heartbroken to learn how much PTSD my dog still has from the previous groomer. They weren't mad that the groom couldn't be completed, and instead made us feel good that we were making the right decision to prioritize our pup's (and Laurie's) safety and comfort over the groom. What a great experience! We needed a pro to help with our Boxer's shedding. We tried all of the online products but nothing really worked. We called Boops N Bubbles to set up an appointment. It was easy. We scheduled a day and did the rest through text. They showed up on time and also text letting me know they were on their way. Two professional ladies took my dog into their work station van and went to town. It took about an hour and a half. They sent me a pic of her when they were done and walked her back up to my front door. Our dog was so happy and finally clean... No little fur rubbing off on our black sweats. Called them to groom our labradoodle puppy. He was 10 months old at the time (about 3 months ago). I've had him groomed regularly every 6-8 weeks. I also brush him daily. Decided to try a mobile groomer so he wouldn't need to be confined for too long. The groomer who showed up wasn't particularly warm or friendly with our sweet pup. Strike 1. Then she said she might need to cut his hair short because he had mats. Also BS because I detangle and brush him every single night. I've been a labradoodle mom before they were a thing. For over 16 years and know the breed super well. So I called her BS. She reluctantly agreed not to cut too short. Strike 2. She took a very long time. When he was back she complained that it was because he took forever to dry and he peed in the van. She charged me extra cleanup fee. I'm not sure I believe it because he had peed and pooped that morning. He has never had accidents in the house/groomer once he was house trained. Her tone was kind of obnoxious. Decided that was strike 3. The grooming was just about okay. It is important for me to have a loving and warm hearted groomer for my pups. So won't be going with them again. Have found another mobile grooming service since who have been great. read more

Our dog was happy and the haircut was great. There is pricing is on the website but I was charged more than the stated pricing I'm guessing due to additional time spent with my dog. It would be great if the business was more transparent about additional charges upfront vs at the end of the service being told it's 25% more than quoted. read more

We tried this place for the first time and April nailed it. We wanted a cylinder look to his legs which requires a longer length that is blended to the shorter hair on the body. It was spot on. Just wanted to update my review. I had a good experience with every other groomer with this company besides the business owner. She price gouges, and seems to have high anxiety which can lead to mistrust when a person can see that, cause why are you so anxious? Anyway I have a very fluffy puppy so after a blow dry his fur is fluffy collar may seem too tight but it's not, just may need a temporary readjustment. She complained about everything. She said my dog's collar was too tight, all we did was adjust it. She said my dog may have an ear infection, took my dog to the vet incurred a bill and my dog didn't have an ear infection. She said my puppy snapped at her while she tried to reposition him while he was on high alert. My puppy plays with everyone in my community and knows everyone and she faced him to where he could see everyone and everything. He's was turning one the following week so of course his attention span is short. I mean she found every issue she could. She gave me the vet off Beethoven vibes. I've found my pup another groomer and back to normal, no problems. This place started off great. It's definitely the owner, definitely very manic at times -you can tell. Make sure your dog isn't matted. They look for mats so they can increase the price. I'm always ready for a show down so if they want to say the experience was different I have the texts to prove it, and my vet bills. Katrina is our regular groomer for our senior chihuahua and we love her. It's so convenient having the groomers come home and be able to take care of your pet's beauty needs.
