In need of work boots, I started a long fruitless search for comfortable work boots in local stores. I started searching the web and decided to take the drive to boot america after I realized they were located 40 minutes away. By now, my boot "situation" had become desperation.In less than 10 minutes, Russ, the owner, found my "holy grail" of boots- mid calf, full grain leather, rubber soled, brown Wellingtons. Russ was professional, knowledgable and pleasant without a hard-sell undertone- things missing from all the other shoe/boot stores I had just recently browsed. I drove from NYC to Boot America and although it was a long trip it was 110% worth it. The owner Russ, waited on me and fitted me with two different styles of boots that I wanted. The way I see it, there are 3 ways to buy boots. Buy on line and hope they fit. Buy in a store from an inexperienced sales associate who doesn't know sh-t from shinola, or, visit Boot America in person and get waited on by Russ who is the Babe Ruth of boot salesman. There is no substitution for experience and Russ has 50+ years in the boot business. And as if that isn't enough, his prices are the lowest, period. Lower than Amazon, lower than other sellers on the Internet. Did I like the long drive? No. Did I like paying some tolls from NY? No. Would I go there again? Absolutely. Unique store for work, cowboy boots, and some shoes. Packed with boxes often stacked eye level, but aisles are wide enough to maneuver. Owners and staff willing to spend the time needed to find you the perfect boot for your needs. They are also willing to order if they don't stock what you want. While my friend and I were there for 3 hours on a Sat. morning until afternoon, we watched 3 different people come in to pick up special order boots. My husband and I shop here all the time. The owners are so helpful and friendly! If they don't have it in stock, they will order for you. One time my husband was looking for a certain boot in a certain size (which most stores don't carry) & Russ left the store and drove to their warehouse to get that pair of boots for my husband! Customer service the way it should be......like it was years ago! We are going again today to buy boots for my husband and I spotted the cutest little cowgirl boots for my granddaughters so they are getting a triple sale today! Russ is super. No one knows boots as well as Russ. I have an odd sized foot and he has helped me get boots made to fit like a glove. I have bought lots of boots (approximately 15) from Russ (Boot America) over the years and there is nobody better. His prices are the best and his service is top notch. I bought 3 pair of boots there and they are the shoes I wear the most. Its important to get your feet measured at the store, along with trying on the boots there at the store. My favorite boots are Ariat, but they have many, many other brands there. I thought the service was great and I was welcomed and treated warmly. The sales lady helped me try on several pairs of boots. I bought my first pair last year, and then 2 more pair this year. I have a bad ankle and they are supportive and very comfortable. read more

I visited Boot America for the first time this week and it was an awesome experience! Not only was it nice to finally find a boot store close, but they have the largest selection I've ever seen! Great Boot Selection! Great people! Great experience! I have been coming to Boot America for my boot needs for about two years! Love this place! The owner looked at my old shoes and said he thought they looked a bit too big, he sized my foot for length and width and found I was actually a whole size smaller than I thought. They also gave my half off gel insoles. Now my feet aren't hurting! They stayed open 15 extra minutes and never said a word. They spent over 30 minutes helping me (I'm picky). It's a shame there are no more little family owned stores like this. read more

Great selection of work boots and they carry all different types and wide sizes with very good prices. They beat most places around price wise. The owners were extremely helpful and patient assisting me in finding what I was looking for and also found some really nice well made leather belts at decent prices as well while I was there. Love this store! Second time I've been in and today I got boots for 3 of my children in less than 15 minutes. We told the gentleman what we were looking for and he went right for it with 3 different choices for each child. Great selection and service. They spent a lot of time with you and guaranteed that if anything is wrong with the boots, they'll take them back and offer a refund or store credit. I've always had trouble finding quality boots my size in stock anywhere including online. 13ee.not only do they have a great selection but the owner provided exceptional service and knowledge.
