Went in to make a return in an item with my gift receipt and all of the tags still attached, and…read moreinstead of returning the item and providing a store credit, they refunded the credit card which was used to purchase the gift. If I had been the one to purchase the gift, this would have been completely fine. But since it was a gift to me, it looks as if I returned the persons gift and didn't want it. When I kindly asked for a store credit, 4 employees all told me that they couldn't do that and there was in fact nothing that they couldn't do. I was happy to make the return and get another item but was declined, and when I was frustrated with this, the staff rolled their eyes at me. I had only heard great things about this store, but after this experience, I'm feeling upset and just taken aback. For $31, they can make that exemption, given the gift receipt was given, the item was fully tagged up, and the intentions were good. Unhappy that this is my first negative review I'm writing.

We all found quite a few things to purchase...until we noticed the older gray haired male employee with the brown patch on his face who was very obviously following us around. Every time I looked up, wherever we were, he was there, leaning on the racks, peering at us. He didn't follow any of the other customers around because he was so fixated on us. After a while, I told my family 'Everyone put your items down because our business isn't welcomed here because we're being watched.' My daughter in law responded' Clearly it's not'.' We put our items down and watched him watch us leave. Have always preferred supporting local businesses, but not this one ever again.
