In July 2017 I purchased a stunning turquoise pendant & necklace. It was a statement piece so I had only worn it once prior. The second time I wore it, December 2017, one of the 3 strands on the necklace broke. I contacted Trader Barb to have the necklace repaired. I thought rather than taking it to my local jeweler who does not specialize in turquoise, I would have the originator work on it. In January 2018 it was agreed that I would pay for shipping the item to her jeweler so he/she could repair the piece. According to the tracker, the piece had arrived 3 days later. I waited several weeks but heard nothing. Not even a confirmation that it had arrived or it was in line for repairs. Finally I initiated and email and I was told I missed the date her jewel was in house and it would be an additional month he/she returned. Disappointed and aggravated I had the piece returned to me, again at my expense. Remember this piece was less than a year old when it broke. Bottomline: If you purchase jeweler from Trader Barb, you are purchasing AS IS merchandise; no guarantee, no warrantee and no support.

My husband is 6'3" with shoulders like a linebacker and a longer than average torso. Nothing standard seems to fit, yet the store manager managed to get him decked out head to toe in some pretty well fitting items. He took my husband's and my tastes into account and used humor to make the emergency seem like less of an emergency. We will be back after the funeral to get a few minor alterations that they recommended but overall, he looked pretty darned good! He also found some extra long ties off the clearance rack (who knew they had extra long ties?!? Not me!) to make the final price tag a little lower. Really great service overall.
