She went in knowing she wanted to try some Hoka's but didnt really know which ones to choose from. The sales rep spent a good amount out time with her talking through the various options. He measured her foot, analyzed the way she walked in each pair and didn't try to pressure her. She ultimately settled on Hoka Arahi's which she absolutely loves. I walked away with a new running shirt and know I'll be coming back when I'm ready for my next pair of running shoes.

But, the store is full of an impressive stock of inventory for your sporting needs. Today, I stopped by the shop to get a water bottle cage. I had a remaining balance on a gift card to use. I found the cage. I also looked at a pair of biking glasses as I am in the market for some. The glasses where right next to the register with a few employees. I asked if I could take the transition lenses outside to try them. The took off the security device so I could do so. I opted not to get the glasses today, but I might get them in the near future. There was some trouble getting my gift card balance applied, but that was resolved and my purchased was complete. I read several Yelp reviews from customers complaining about the employees ignoring customers. I have to address this. Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel the need to be acknowledged when I'm in a store. If I need someone, I will flag them down. They have always been kind, courteous, and respectful to me over the course of my patronage, bike shop and store.

Went to the shop to pick up my telephone purchased bike. The salesperson who helped me over the…read morephone was off that day and had told me to speak to Rico if she was off over the phone. So upon my arrival I asked for Rico and he came with a unwelcoming approach he handed me off to another salesperson unbeknownst to me after I told him I was picking up my bike. He flatly turned around without a word and another uninterested person who didn't address he would help me instead. But just stood there. I finally asked where Nico went to my husband and this guy said I was ready to go. I was surprised and I said oh your helping me now? I asked if everything was there and he pointed to a box. I was surprised he had no interest in showing me how to operate the bike or set it up for me. I asked for him if he would adjust the bike for me since he clearly was doing the absolute minimum. The lack of service was obvious since the first interaction with the staff. No they didn't sale me the bike, Melissa did over the phone but apparently there is no interest in providing customer service unless the person made the sale was present. I was surprised to see 3 staff members outside providing service to a couple with optimum care and service making necessary adjustments to her bike but that same care wasn't provided to me. I would have bought other accessories and clothing during my visit but the shunning left me with a bad taste. Which I had never experienced before at a bike shop.

I called the store to ensure that it would not be an issue. They were new in the box and I included the receipt. The girl at the counter immediately said they couldn't refund only exchange he tried to explain that we were unable to return sooner because his father just passed after a hospital stay. She said she lost many people last month...!!! Thankfully another girl said it wasn't a problem and did the refund. I am extremely ANGRY and told him to never share our family sorrows or details it is not necessary and so many people are callous and don't care. I will never ever shop here again. The receipt says "famously easy returns". Anyway, I went in this afternoon to make a purchase.And the employee was kind enough to allow me to have a purchase discount in the same amount of the expired gift card. Prices are a little high but it's the only spot to get duke merch. Can be hit or miss to get your size in exactly what you like so may have to shop a couple times.
