During my visit, I was repeatedly ignored by floor associates, despite employees actively assisting other customers standing directly beside me. I was never acknowledged or offered help. This selective engagement was noticeable and deeply concerning, and it raised serious questions about unequal treatment in the store. Compounding this issue, a prior transaction was never clearly explained, which resulted in me losing $23.33 in Kohl's Cash. When I contacted Kohl's corporate customer service for clarification and resolution, the experience was equally unsatisfactory. The representative did not attempt to review or look up the transaction and instead offered vague assumptions with no accountability, explanation, or effort to resolve the issue. As a customer, I expect consistent, fair, and professional treatment--both in-store and through corporate support channels. Unfortunately, this experience reflected a breakdown in customer service standards and a lack of ownership at multiple levels. Situations like this undermine trust and raise legitimate concerns about how customers are treated and supported. I strongly encourage store leadership and corporate management to review both the in-store conduct and the handling of customer inquiries, as this experience fell well below the standard expected from a national retailer.

It's a big store. The line was long to check out, but the checkers were doing a good job and I got through the line easily My checker was very kind and considerate. One notable difference is that there's Kohl's cash to help ease the pain. JC doesn't even give up a Penney. And when you find a live human that could help, they avoid eye contact. If you do manage to make contact, they give nonsensical answers to straightforward questions, like "What sizes do you stock in men's suits?" and "Why do certain sizes show online as being in store?" Both salespeople were behind the counter talking. After waiting for awhile to interject on the 2 sales people's loud conversation about whether skinny jeans were for older women & out of style I asked about a specific item I saw online. They did not have it in store and started to offer to order it for me. Instead of following through with the order they went on a tangent amongst themselves about how THEY didn't even get their discount on that particular (Beach) line. I stood there about few minutes listening to them talk about the discount percentages they got on everything else. As a customer I should not hear this conversation, nor do I care one bit about their discount when I'm paying full price for items. I set my items down and walked away, thinking one of them would snap back to the task at hand which was helping me, as a customer. As I walked out I heard one of them say robotically, "have a nice day". I went back in and told them both exactly why I would never spend money in that location again to help them achieve their daily sales goals. As a customer we have options where & how we spend our money. Sadly, I will stick to online to avoid crap in store service.
