Boot is super tiny and filled with friendly! Both of the young folk who work behind the counter were fairly chatty and interested in engaging with the clientele, both those whom they knew and didn't. The owners have done well in choosing staff. -props to them. I also liked the feel of the place. Was I in Paris? Brooklyn? London? It is a wee independent isle of coffee tucked into rue du Pont aux Choux. I can't now recall what beans (not yet for sale to the public, but, I would hope, that they are working on it) they were using (Cafe Lomi?), but the drinks were perfect--neither sour nor bitter, well-balanced. The rather ample scone with orange peel and blk sesame was very tasty. Coffee enthusiasts: get on over to Boot. **no toilet ***just down the block from this place: http://www.yelp.com/biz/rachels-paris?osq=rachels+cafe

Solid coffee & cute super small spot. The barista was kind & obviously busy workin but offered great service with a smile through it. My cappuccino was stronger than I prefer but better then most of Paris. My friend didn't care for his espresso, said it wasn't the correct grind for that.

Tiny little cafe just off Republique and close to the Marais. Coffee is currently from Berlin based roasters Five Elephants and they make a variety of espresso based coffees (flat white, latte, cappuccino, espresso) but no cold coffee due to space limitations. Fun cosy place to grab a coffee and great photo I'll

Went here two days in a row during my visit to Paris. This establishment is perfect for cute Instagram photos, coffee, and pastries. Not necessarily in that order....... I'm not a coffee drinker but my sister is and she said her coffee was "fantastic!", which is a big statement considering she is a coffee snob! The banana bread, lemon poppy seed bread, and orange bread was all very nice and not too sweet, which is key! Homemade as well! I wanted to try their hot chocolate but I opted for their lemonade which was unsweetened and way too tart. They did have simple syrup and sugar available to add to it but I couldn't combat the tartness. I have to say that I did drink it all because I figured their was something healthy I could benefit from with the citrus. This place is very, very small which is okay. The offerings are meant to be enjoyed while walking around Paris. I felt the prices here were definitely great and comparable to a good coffee shop in the States. I will definitely be back next year ;)

A great little shop! The store is very personalized and feels so homey. A great place to get a drink to go, or sit for a bit and chat. The barista was very friendly. I was a bit disappointed that they only had regular milk, but I could still taste the great espresso. Glad I tried it out!

What it lacks in size it makes up in character (some good things do come in small packages). The decor is very cute made up of postcards and magazines on the walls. The star of the show is the great coffee with a warm service from the friendly baristas. When I visited the shop, the cakes and other pastries were made by Emperor Norton. Very good.

Boot Café is the teensiest, tiniest and possibly cutest café I have ever had the privilege of going into. Not to mention that it is housed in an old cobbler's shop, hence the name. How cool is that? I had a cortado and an orange black sesame scone. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back here before I leave Paris.

It's a great tiny super cute little coffee shop with fantastic coffee. The bake good are alright, just not a lot of variety where to choose from. Great atmosphere, amazing music and the barista was super nice, Aussie running the place so you know the coffee is good. Fair prices. Definitely worth the visit!

This place is literally so small but very home-y. To note: it was also VERY warm inside I presume from all the bodies inside. It is mid April do cannot imaginr its comfortable to sit or stand there another time of year. Barista working was kind and efficient. People were lined out the door and there is only so much he can do running the whole show. I got the banana bread and also the other one (cannot remember name of it) and preferred banana which was amazing by the way- you could see the little mushed up parts of banana which I loved. I was reccomended this place by a good friend who lived in paris for a year.

Fun stuff happening at Boot Cafe.

By far the smallest coffee shop I've ever been to but don't let that discourage you! It's super cute inside, baristas are awesome, great music, and best of all - the coffee is delicious. You can take it to go, but I recommend sitting (or standing) for a bit and chatting with other coffee enthusiasts!

Love this cafe! Tucked away in Le Marais, this cozy little coffee shop serves the most amazing cappuccino. Even though it tightly seats about two tables, there's so much personality - the walls, the decor and the energy from the baristas/owners. When I return to Paris, I definitely want to come back here.

One of the best place for real cafe in Paris! Small only 3 table and if you're lucky in sunny period you can sit half cheek on a bench outside in the street!

It was head and shoulders our favorite coffee shop in the City of Light, and we lowkey made our rounds. It's a small shop, but filled to the brim with life and passion. I'm normally not a pastry guy, but if I lived anywhere near Motors I would absolutely be a pastry guy. The cinnamon roll was light and delicate, as opposed to the overly sweet and dense ones I'm used to. We also got a vanilla pastry they were testing, and a sugar cookie with milk chocolate drizzled on top. Ugh, take me back, inject these into my veins. I got my goto hot black coffee, and you could taste the freshness of the beans. My girlfriend got a latte that had the most beautiful little flower art on it. How do they even do that? I'm proud of myself, as I knew even when we were sitting in here enjoying our pastries, hot coffees, and each other's company that this was a moment I would look back on and cherish. It's always great knowing it's one of those moments when you're actually in it. You can fully appreciate it. My one regret is that I didn't get the ladies name serving us, as she was so sweet, recommended great pastries, and was just a pleasant human being. They don't make em like sis anymore... I started off with an Expresso Martini which was very good and yes this is how it is spelled here and I like that because that is how I always pronounce it. With our drinks our waiter even brought us out fresh olives. Now I'm not the biggest fan but Ashley very much enjoyed it. There was a lot on the menu that I was interested in and they had a number of different cuts of beef but I had to go with the Whole Duck Breast which is also a French classic which I got cooked medium rare but I'm perfect sure that's how they suggest it which is the right way like they do with all their beef too. Ashley and I also split the French Onion Soup. I will say by Duck was very good. Tasty rich sauce with crispy duck skin cooked perfectly. Some of the best duck I have had in awhile. I will say the French Onion Soup though was a little bland. I just didn't have that rich beef broth I am used too. Beside that everything was very good and would for sure recommend going to Café Blanc for a nice menu which amazing French options.

We got lemon ice, coffee gelato, chocolate chip, chocolate hazelnut and the chocolate fondue. Everything was delicious. But I think we were gelatoed out and the lemon ice was amazing !
