He has an energetic, fast-pace, yet positive instructing style--the guys got a smile on his face and is pretty light-hearted. The workout - Most of the time he brings all these workout items (ropes, boxing dummy, parachut, sled, etc..), and the workout is really touches on all muscle groups. The stomach workout is hard. Also, running on sand is hard for some people. If thats the case then you can run on the road. If you are looking to lose weight, gain core agil strengh, then you'll get that. I'd say try it out.

I went to the Venice one and the spot was actually much bigger than it looked from outside. Alex, the trainer for my Run and Lift early morning class, was super welcoming and totally delivering top-notch first-timer experience for me, paying detailed attention that I got the instructions correctly and did the right movements. The intensity of the workout forced me to my limit, but they did let people do it on their own pace. The complementary facilities like locker, shower room, and even free towels made bunch of plus points, though one downside might be I'd prefer it to be cleaner (read: the women's bathroom might need more frequent cleaning especially with shedding hair). You did have the option to indulge post the workouts by getting their smoothies, which was also available to be pre-ordered and tailored to your preference by customizing the ingredients. Not to mention, the Venice one had plenty of free parking spaces!

The one-on-one attention from the trainers makes such a difference -- I mostly take classes with Jesse, McKenna, and Peter, and they're all incredible. I do a mix of small group and group classes, and I genuinely enjoy every one of them. I love how much focus there is on form. The trainers make sure you're doing everything correctly and safely, and they really individualize the programming to different levels. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, they meet you there and still push you to go further. The group programming runs for 5-6 weeks at a time, which I love because you can actually track your progress and see how much stronger you're getting. I've been challenging myself to lift heavier and heavier, and I've noticed such a big change in my body -- someone even told me I have "Madonna arms," which made my day! Real Fitness has truly been a game changer for me. I'm motivated every day to show up and put in the work, and the community here is amazing -- it really feels like a family where everyone cheers each other on.

I held onto this fantasy that one day, one of my friends would take me to a gym and magically show me what to do. I looked up gyms near me when I realized this was a silly fantasy but coming here actually turned it into a reality. all the trainers are knowledgeable and meticulous. everyone is very nice and normal, which was surprising to me. there aren't any gimmicks or pretense and the pricing is very fair. health-wise it's stopped my knees from flaring up from hypermobility, I can carry much more and I can't fit into my pants for good reasons.

Online doesn't give you a schedule and the people via text take days to write back so I walked next door to sign up this morning at 8:30 am and all the classes are full for the day so I said ok what is your schedule for during the week so I can sign up on a day that I can actually come and their response was we are open everyday when do you want to come? How can I say when I want to come when I don't know what time the classes are lol? Obviously this studio needs help with training the sales team as I was a paying new member trying to sign up and they did not care so I just walked out the door lol The one guy was just out of it like I was speaking another language and the other guy had such an attitude and definitely should not be interacting with people. Problem could have been solved by saying hi classes are full today but I have a class tomorrow at 6,7,8,9 whatever times you have the classes and showing me the schedule that you are looking at lol and signed me up. Not that hard or unreasonable lol So Orange theory management- imagine how many more new clients you could have if you had competent employees.

I am at a weight I never thought I would reach again. Exercises are geared towards my fitness level and changed up every session. No boring, repetitive gym stuff. I wanted more definition in my glutes and arms. I found Susan through Yelp and I am so glad I contacted her! She is now helping me to rework my squat and deadlift form which my group classes instructors never corrected. She comes once a week to my place in West Hollywood and teach me a workout routine I can do by myself for the rest of the week. Some exercices only take 15 minutes so I do it daily at home whenever I have a moment. I waited 4 sessions to write a review and I can say I am very happy with the results so far I can finally see my butt getting lifted!! I've always been scared to work out with weights because I absolutely don't want to look bulky but I want to look lean and toned, this has been my goal for years! She explained me that to get that JLO butt I NEED WEIGHTS so she added a 20LBS vest jacket and 10LBS weights dumbbells to my workout! Susan has so much knowledge to teach and she is very patient, she will make you practice a squat until you achieve the right posture on your own! I love how she makes exercices just for you that are quick, simple to remember and don't require much equipments. I am confident she will help me change my body within the next sessions!
