She got the oil change and then was told that it would take over $1500.00 in repairs before they could align the vehicle. She was also charged $ 40.00 for checking the vehicle since she wouldn't get the repairs. ( that she didn't need).The vehicle was then carried to another shop where they did the alignment with no problems. A total of four mechanics looked at the vehicle and stated that the vehicle was fine and the vehicle did not need the repairs that had been recommended by 49 Tiremart. If you plan on using these people just know they will lie about the repairs you may need. Get a second opinion. After getting nowhere complaining to the shop personnel, I spoke to the owner Gerald Brown who made the decision that instead of doing what was right and paying back the $40 and call it a mistake, he would stand behind his employees who without a doubt tried to take advantage of a 72 year old woman. Says a lot about his character also. It also make you wonder how many times they have actually got unknowing people to pay for repairs they never needed.

The good is that their service people were kind, courteous, and very professional...they even gave me a free estimate. The only really bad thing I can say is that they wanted to do a lot of work on my car that didn't need to be done. Like new parts on all four brake assemblies when the only thing I really needed was new front brakes. I took the car to my brother-in-law, who is a mechanic in Jackson, MS and was available at the time and he told me exactly what my car needed.. As I said, they are great people, I just wish they would have been a little more honest. Otherwise, great people at Booth Discount Tire.

Our insurance provided towing service but the shop they idenitified for RV repairs did not actually do engine service. In talking with Park from Parker Wrecker Service, he said they could take care of the problem if the parts needed were available. We took him up on the offer, and the team there were excellent at diagnosing the problem as a dead starter. Park called all around the area, and the earliest a replacement could be found was in the morning. As promised, the RV was repaired and started without an issue for the rest of our 8 hour drive home. I would highly recommend them for towing and repair services in that area of Mississippi.
