I spoke with Joan a couple of times and she took the time to describe what items she likes to buy from people. The atmosphere is fun with tons of good music playing. Saturday was real fun with lots of folks shopping, but even with several folks shopping people are chill. This isn't Goodwill and you aren't going to find boring pieces here. If you're looking for deals I find, NB to be hit or miss... lately it's been hit though with some of the sales on the back wall. I picked up a few pairs recent and two were on the back wall so they were an additional 30% off which was great. I also grabbed a pair of 2002Rx's in navy which isn't always easy to find so they were $150 with no sales... which is expected. I have had the tanger app forever and there are always coupons and such so I pulled it up and there was a weekend promotion going on and it was the last day. I tried to use it and instead of trying any of them, the manager just said that only the lesser one worked and it wouldn't work on clearance... which is expected. I asked why the lesser coupon would work but not the larger one and he said New Balance doesn't really like to participate in the tanger deals because they're more of an elevate brand and don't like to be associated with coupons. Last I checked, we were at a "factory store" in an outlet mall so discounts is the name of the game here. I wasn't looking for anything extra, I just want to make sure that if there is a discount available, I'd rather not pay extra or to be made like I'm a cheapo for trying to do so. I've never understood that with retail workers in a corporate store... like, the money isn't going into your pocket, why wouldn't you try to get the customer a better deal? Aside from that interaction at the register, the employees were very helpful and the store is super clean and organized. I'm sure I'm sure I'll be back, but I can find great deals online too.

I like the fit, not so much the quality and much less the customer service. I was recently at the store in Raleigh and I could see a lot better inventory than the Outlet and the employee at the outlet said they can't compete with the stores and they carry only the "lemons" however the prices aren't any lower at this place to make me go back.
