I'm sure they're lovely people in the store but their online customer service is non-existent.

These glasses that I picked up first were also the ones I ended up buying. The frame is called Cartwright and I immediately liked them. The service was great and although they said that it would take up to 7 business days for my glasses to be ready, I received a notification the next business day that I'd be able to pick them up. Also, I thought they were a good value for money: £150 including prescription lenses.

My last pair of Tom Ford glasses from a high end chain cost me £500, which I actually lost attending a Yelp event (another story!). I came here a while back and asked if I already had a frame, could they fit the lenses for me. They said that they could. I ordered a pair of Tom Ford's online at a cost of £140. This optician advised me that the lense would be £165. I came in with frame and prescription from my previous optition. One week on, I'm not the proud owner of a pair of Tom Ford glasses at £305 compared to £500 for my previous pair. I'm one happy chappy! I was really impressed with the service I received.
