Wilkinsons or Bodycare) then you can get many of the items such as perfume, deodorant, razor blades etc for a little less. One big advantage boots have over the competition is the ability to collect points on your purchases which can be redeemed for money off future purchases. They also tend to have a lot of special offers, especially around Christmas time with many gifts on 3 for 2 or extra points.

The thing I particularly like about this store is it is quite relaxed. I suspect this is because it doesn't have as many 'pop in' shoppers as say the city centre store. So if you are going to gift shop, re-do your cosmetics etc and want to browse and take your time this is a really good store to choose.

They stock all of the basics as well as having a whole aisle devoted to haircare - covering brands from Wash and Go, Aussie, Tresemme and Head and Shoulders to James Brown and Sami. Their vitamin section is comprehensive, men are well catered for and the makeup is relatively good - no bigger Superdrug brands like MeMeMe, but they have GOSH, Miss Sporty and New York Colour as well as Maybelline, Loreal, Rimmel and the like. There are a few perfumes behind the counter, but most lack testers and the selection is more commercial - you can get the cheaper and more widely advertised Diesel, J-Lo, DKNY and Paco Rabanne scents, but not Marc Jacobs, Dior or Nina Ricci. There's also a small sweets and dieting foods section, with a chiller; they stock Powerade and Skinny Water amongst others. I find that I use Superdrug more for makeup and more niche products I can't get in Boots, especially as products are more expensive and their loyalty card doesn't offer nearly as good rewards as the Advantage card. It is, however, a nice place to shop and I'd probably go in more often if I got more points for my purchases.

They have 3 tills and sell stamps and mobile top ups from here. Behind these tills are an extensive perfume range that is very competitive. I have been known to come out here laden with shopping bags and you must regularly check for their weekly offers.

They didn't seem to care about overall customer experience and clear passage of the store, it was such a mess that no one would be able to even squeeze past, yet it wasn't part of the store which was deliberately closed of either, meaning customers would have to walk in a giant circle all around the store. Extremely dissapointing and not fit up to the regular standards of Boots. 1*

The staff in this particular branch are fab, really hot on customer service. Its also very clean spacious and well stocked. Particularly good pharmacy here, and a photographic lab to boot (excuse the pun). What more could you want?
